Do ya dig it?

Mission to get fossil Pokemon.

Pokemon have existed on this Earth for millions of years, longer than even humans have. As such history has been many different species of Pokemon come and go. We are unsure exactly how many Pokemon species that existed through out time, and perhaps we'll never know. We have discovered however several different types of fossil Pokemon through out the regions. But one particularly region is simply fascinating when it comes to ancient Pokemon, and that's Kalos.

Glittering Cave is a Paleontologist's dream, fossils of Pokemon thought to have only existed in certain parts of the world have been discovered there. Dome, Helix, Claw, Root, Skull, Armor, Cover, Plume, Jaw, Sail, and Old Amber can all be found in Glittering Cave. They aren't sure why Glittering Cave is so unique and they might never. Either way, if you want to dig up a fossil of your own this is the place to go. Head to Glittering Cave and be sure to bring a Pokemon to help you dig for fossils. It might take you awhile to find even a piece of one but don't give up.

I must warn you however. There is a group of dinosaur fanatics that got booted from the Pokemon Lab in Kanto for their erratic behavior. They think they should revive as many fossil Pokemon as they can and unleash them on the Earth in order to bring back the age of dinosaurs. These crazy ex-Paleontologists formed a small group which call themselves Team Eolith. I have information that Team Eolith is hanging out in Glittering Cave and stealing any fossil dug up. Be careful of them.

Objective:
---Go to Glittering Cave and find a fossil.

Opposition:
---Wild Pokemon including Machop, Onix, Cubone, Rhyhorn, Kangaskhan, Mawile, Lunatone, Solrock, Woobat, Ferroseed, and Dwebble.
---Team Eolith grunts, they exclusively use Ground and Rock Pokemon.

Pokemon:
---You may catch a wild Pokemon, or snag one from Team Eolith.

Rewards:
---5x Snag Coins
---The fossil you find. Revive it here.

To be posted in several parts.

Allen audibly groaned from the outside of the outside of the Glittering Cave. "I can't believe they would stoop so low." He said as he reread the email on his SNAG. Actually, he could believe that they would blackmail him into seeing them. They were his parents after all. A couple of smug science types with brains like super computers. How he was their son was the real mystery. The seventeen year old pocketed his communication device and sent out Zest, the only Pokemon that they actually knew about.

"Honestly I could never even wrap myself around dad's side of the family with their obsession with being type specialists. Friggin rock type trainer on an island? Really? If that wasn't enough, they wanted me studying Pokemon Mansion's poison types for a whole summer." That was when he had ran away. Allen's parents were constantly trying to send him to things like space camp and enrolling him in things like band. Not that band geeks were bad or anything, he just didn't like having his future mapped out by them. Thankfully the world of Pokemon enabled children into leaving their homes as young as age ten! He hadn't seen either parent since he had been given an egg by uncle Barry and ran off on a very stolen speedboat.

Well. Enough nostalgia. They had found Snagem and had plenty of baby pictures. When he asked GRAY if he could help him, the AI responded with a flat no. Because apparently, deleting those photos would be an act against whatever meatbags prayed to. Allen walked into the cave with more than a little hesitation. Even if it was perfectly lit, what was the point in digging in dirt again? There was a mission here, though it was on the sidelines for now. His hopeless battle against his doting parents took priority here.

Maybe Steve would have a bit of an advantage of a cave, but he didn't want them knowing anything more than they needed to. It had been nearly a year since he had ran away to join a baller vigilante team and, even though he hadn't made much progress, it was nice to be a part of a team.

"Hello?" Allen asked, his voice echoing down the various paths of the cave. He kept to the left, something he had read up on before coming here. Just stick to one wall and you'll never get lost. That was, unless there were caves going in EVERY direction. But if he got that far, he'd just call up a familiar Claydol to teleport him away.

Walking through the early parts of the cave, Allen called out "Helloooo, Mom and Dad? It's Allen. Your son." He expected to be greeted by the family Omastar, his father's many limbed lab assistant. But when no greeting arrived, he began to wonder if he had been punked. If he parents needed to resort to blackmail to see their son, they probably wouldn't play the cold shoulder card. He opened up his SNAG to review the mission, which he had skimmed. Hopefully there's be som- oh hey eco terrorists were holding the place up. That probably would have been something worth telling them. Allen put the device away.

"Mommy's not here right now." A middle aged man's voice said, shortly before Allen received a swift knock to the head.

Well. Not that swift. Allen turned around to face the frail and aged scientist, his face covered in dirt and his breath reeking of coffee."Oh hello." Allen said in a very poker face way. "Was that supposed to knock me out, cause you hit like a third grader by the way." The boy returned the favor by shoving the man into a wall. He proceeded to do a little jig.

"Yeah! Science is lame by the way guy, you should have started off with the whole violence thing at a young age. Like me! Zest? Ember this guy's pants and lets get put of here." Allen quipped once he stopped jigging and started taking the mission at least slightly seriously. Get paid to take rocks away from overzealous nerds? It was like middle school all over again! Awesome!

The scientist, presumably also a Team Eolith member, sent out a

Geodude to block the firey attack. Allen shrugged as he picked up and tossed Zest onto the scientist's face, swinging and whacking at him. "Sooooo, how're rocks and go Steve!"

A Clefairy leaped from her Pokeball as the scientist threw the Magby off of him. The Geodude used Rock Throw, pummeling the fire type further. "Sing the one nerd!" Allen barked as the man fell victim to Steve's lullaby. He dashed to the fainted man and returned his Geodude. It had been a dirty trick, but his parents were probably hog tied while their Omastar was being fangirled by those Eolith dweebs.

"Alright, thanks for the assist Steve."

"Clefaaaai." The Fairy Pokemon said calmed as she turned her nose away from Allen. While she was turned into the red energy that went back into her ball, Zest climbed up on her trainer's shoulder. Back to the mission.
