After a few days on board the ship, Vlad decided to explore and hopefully find a battle. He was lucky he found a girl who was willing to battle him, for practice.
"Go Zatmeniye!!! Vlad sent out his Lunatone, and as the challenger, the girl was going first. She sent out her Venomoth
The venomoth attacked first with a Quiver Dance. after the move, the Venomoth seemed to flit around more quickly. "Now Zatmeniye, I need you to focus. Now Cosmic Power!! Lunatone glowed with an ethereal mist as it absorbed the powers of the cosmos to strengthen it defences.
The girl ordered her Venomoth to attack with Silver wind. The wind hit the Lunatone, but thanks to the cosmic power it was able to withstand the power from the move. "Good job!!!" Vlad said, ""Now, use gravity!" Vlad said, the room warped as the gravity intensified, both Lunatone and the Venomoth were unable to stay airborne because of it. The Venomoth could not do much as it was being pressed against the ground with the intense Gravity. "Now Lets finish this. Use Psychic!" The gravity mixed with the powerful psychic attack caused a distortion in the room, the venomoth powerless to the attack, fancied as it was hit with the distortion of space.
"Good job Zatmeniye!" he said, recalling the Lunatone. He shook the girls hand and gave her a potion. "For your Venomoth. Sorry about that." He said his goodbyes and headed back to his room.

A quiet whistling would reach Vlad's ears as he reached the area around Saffron City when a strange man with a metal arm strolled along after exiting the Gym. The whistling would hitch slightly as he seemed to glance in Vlad's direction. Patting the Wynaut sitting on his shoulder, he quickly would fall in step with Vlad. "So. What are you here for? Me, I'm going back to Johto to test the Magnet Train out. Name's Reno. Whats yours?" The man would question, a shock of red hair now visible to the man.

Reno quirked an eyebrow at the mention of Mt. Silver. "Who lives on that desolate rock? Bunch of random nomads who hate society?" He questioned, giving a few casual taps to his robotic arm. This could be fun. "And of course he can see Harleen, Vlad." He added, watching as the Wynaut leaped off his shoulder onto the Lunatone and she began to absent-mindedly talk to the other Psychic type. Quietly, Reno would begin to guide the group towards the Magnet Train while they were talking. Couldn't hurt to take the quick way and then show off a little to the kid.

Reno glanced up at the sign, nodding at the reveal that it was directions to the Magnet Train. "That, is the directions to the Magnet Train. Fastest way in to Johto." He said, casually wandering into the terminal and gesturing to Vlad to follow along. A quick flash of attention would flash across Harleen's face. "Wy naut nau wy!" The Pokemon would protest, gesturing the Lunatone to follow along behind Reno. After all, that was her trainer leaving. Couldn't just abandon him to hang out with her new friend.

Reno would be quick to respond. "It runs off of electromagnetism. Propels the train so fast that it makes nearly all other transport feel like its in slow motion." Carefully paying the fare for both him and Vlad, Reno hauled them and their Pokemon through the quickly closing doors and onto the train. "Now then. Spill. Why do you want to go to Mount Silver?"

Reno stared at Vlad as the world blurred past in the background, desperately repressing the urge to flick the kid on the forehead. "Hey. Super spy. The being coy thing and just saying strong Pokemon are there only works if you didn't tell me you were meeting a group of people there. So then its a group of people with strong Pokemon who live in a remote area and who must want to maintain some level of secrecy. The fact it is also in Johto really narrows it down." Reno said, quickly analyzing the situation as he had gathered from Vlad and his own personal observations. Well, and some additional knowledge but no need to spoil that fun little secret yet."So then. Is it Rocket or is it those weirdos who call themselves Team Snagem who live up in the mountains?"

Reno would give a nod to Vlad, quickly punching a few buttons on the object attached to his left wrist. Wait, was that a flash of metal past his wrist? Weird. "So, Team Snagem. Why you going to them? Interested in a specific member? That Gilded Reaper Guy, the explosives nut hybrid, that weirdo who they call the Psyhammer? Maybe you think their some batch of heroes. Well, let's see how you like them then." Opening a Pokeball, Reno would look at the newly released Alakazam. "Time for a shortcut. Time to head home, Kaiden." Reno told the Pokemon, watching as pink chi began to encircle the small group of Pokemon and people that made up Reno and his new recruit. Lets see how this works for a bit of showing off strength.
