Nishati was thankful for the still brisk air of early spring; by deciding against choosing a specific rank upon adulthood, the pale-spotted leopardess had effectively chosen to be the assistant to most - as well a huntress. She would never complain - working hard and helping others brought her joy - but she was relieved not to be toiling in the heat. Come summer, that would be the case. Nisha occasionally entertained the idea of adopting an actual rank, but for now she was content in her place.
She had already helped one of the crafters set up a small stand, and had made a mental note to return after seeing some of her wares, and was now hauling in a fair sized gazelle. After dropping the animal onto the startings of a pile, she settled back onto her haunches, panting, for a short break. Looking around, Nisha's heart swelled to see her pride arranging to celebrate the season of her clan.
When she had caught her breath, Nisha rose to her paws and padded back toward the carnival set-up, making sure to grab some foliage on the way to decorate. She was sure there would be more pridemates to lend a paw to.

While walking toward the carnival grounds, Nisha was passed by an ochre colored male with white stripes. She recognized him as a member of the Vuli Clan and an Entertainer, but she didn't know his name. Nonetheless, she did a double take as he passed and watched as he picked out a meal. With a branch in her mouth, she could hardly say anything, so she continued to keep an eye on the male as she set down and arranged the foliage in an attractive way.
Once she was finished "sprucing", she looked up with a smile and started to head toward the Vuli male. Unfortunately, she was waylaid by a fortune-teller in need of a specific stone that seemed to be missing. With a glance back at the semi-stranger, she agreed to help locate the stone. When they had finally found the special stone - a pretty green thing that was hiding in plain sight in the grass - Nisha looked up to find that the autumn boy was gone.
Begrudgingly, she went about her tasks, making sure to keep her eyes out for a certain ginger pelt. She wasn't overly sure why, but she really wanted to meet this male. At the very least, after the carnival was set up and going and she no longer had as many responsibilities, she would be free to roam and search.
