Personailty: Melina is very sweet and obedient. Usually quite docile and kind. Softly spoken and wouldn't raise her voice. Easy to tease and blushes very easy. When 'hungry', Melina's personality changes slightly. She becomes very needy and clingy, starting to get a little pushy. Once 'feeding', Melina becomes more dominate easily surrendering to lust and desire. Lasting time varies on how much she 'feeds' and her connection with the person. - Eros is a very protective 'brother'. Towards everyone else he is cold and unyielding. He tends to do what he wants, often coaxing Melina to do the same. Eros likes to tease Melina and also acts like a servant or butler instead of a brother.
Bio: Thanks to the last Rare vampire, Melina's parents were able to give birth to her. As she grew older, no one was aware of her special ability. Unlike most vampires, Melina's family didn't live among humans, the need to feed very little compared to the ones that did. Her eldest brother was a turned vampire and her young sister was born like Melina. Though Melina was supposed to be the last born, her mother Ellisa still have birth. Attention was focused on Ellisa, as the vampire world naturally assumed she would be the next Rare. Not being of blood relation, Finnik took an intrest in Melina. This led him to discovering Melina forcing herself to throw up blood consumed as well as blood produced to remain 'normal'. A great reward was offered for the person who discovered a Rare, getting to be the lover of the Rare. Finnik took the chance and spread the news about Melina. Soon the focus was on Melina and not Anji. Controlled by desire to be the Rare, Anji forced Melina to 'feed', causing her to go into a drunk stupor. When Melina awoke, she had been sold on the black market to the world of slavery.
It was difficult for Melina to hide what she was, usually creating a huge mess when she 'fed' so no one was none the wiser. Eventually she was taken in by Dareing Argyris, an older male who knew her secret. His wife was once the Rare and she had actually been killed by ravenous vampires who desired eternal strength. A strange relationship was formed, and Dareing realized he couldn't let Melina fall for him. Eros was introduced as his son and he told Melina that she was his adoptive daughter. The strange relationship was broken and Dareing raised them like his children. While Eros and Melina were out 'hunting', someone burned down Dareing's home and kidnaped Melina and Eros, forcing them back into slavery.
Hidden from Melina: Eros was the man Anji forced Melina to give blood to. He was an angel that Anji had captured, desiring him to be her guardian when she finally become Rare. When receiving blood from Melina, his soul became tainted, turning him into a dark angel. The taste of Melina had become addictive and Eros desired to have all of her. This infuriated Anji and she fed from Eros, turning his desire into her. She purposely turned him into a vampire to serve her, still believing that she would become the Rare. Though when she sold Melina, Eros suddenly disapeared. He sought to get captured by the same owners.
Dareing happened upon Eros at the same slave shop and asked him if he knew a vampiress named Melina seeing they were both vampires. Eros flew into a rage, demanding Dareing let him see her. So, Dareing purchased Eros and warned him that Melina was to think he was his son. Eros agreed just because it meant he would be beside Melina. He also knows the Anji was the one who burnt down Dareing's house and sold them into slavery once more.

Other: Every few thousands of years, a rare vampire is born. Usually female, though there have been rarer occasions of males being born. No matter what family that vampire is born into, it is treated like royalty. Sometimes this vampire is taken from its home to be raised in royal surroundings, sometimes the vampire is just assigned a guardian(s). It is important to protect this vampire, for this vampires very existence means a lot to the world of vampires. 'The Giver Of Life' is the name commonly used for this rare vampire because of the abilities it's blood holds. Unlike most vampires, this vampire produces/gives blood instead of taking it. When a regular vampire drinks the rare blood, he or she will regain the ability to reproduce. He or she will also become stronger for a short duration of time.
Guardians are usually species other than vampire, making Eros Rare is his own way. Eros still has some 'holy' powers though they are seen as dark when used. He also has some vampire powers like strength, agility, and persuasion.
Melina is stronger and faster than all other vampires. Her persuasion is also stronger and so are her other senses. When she 'feeds' her heart beats like a human. That is when she is vunerable though it is a brief moment before she becomes a woman that a succubus might fear. She releases natural phermones that draw others to her, a side affect of being the life giver. Rare vampires easily can get pregnant, which is why a mate must be chosen wisely. A Rare vampire would do anything for her mate as her soul imprints foever on his. The death of a Rare vampires mate will cause the Rare vampire to loose his/her life giving ability and they will become a berserker. Often killed after this happens.
