✘ Astronomy - O
______ Having spent his entire childhood camping out in the woods with his family and stargazing with his father and sister, Tristan was well familiar with the planets and constellations long before he ever took his first Astronomy class.
✘ Charms - A
______ Tristan lacks focus and discipline, which turned out to be a bit more glaringly obvious than he had originally anticipated. Especially when he skimmed through the test and answered a few easy questions wrong because he did not read the directions properly.
✘ Defense Against the Dark Arts - A
______ Similar to Charms, Tristan has a well-rounded knowledge of the subject but a few simple slip ups and rushing through his exam had dropped his grade down a bit.
✘ Herbology - O
______ His father is a Herbologist, and Tristan spent much of his early years outdoors tending the gardens with him. He aced through the written portion of the test and with his broad knowledge and keen senses, he excelled in the practical exam.
✘ History of Magic - P
______ Names and dates had always been rather confusing to him, and it didn't help that he kept second guessing himself the entire time, which caused him to change a few right answers to be wrong and gave him such a terrible score.
✘ Potions - E
______ One of the hardest classes for him, Tristan studied and practiced as much as he could for this exam, it was the most important one to him, after all. He only barely missed out a perfect score because he skipped a question on the written portion without even realizing it.
✘ Transfiguration - O
______ Another class that Tristan studied diligently in, he always balanced between practicing his potions and his transfigurations, depending on where he was and what he could do at the time. Thanks to all of his dedication, he went above and beyond to pass this exam.
✘ Care of Magical Creatures - O
______ it wasn't hard for him to ace this test, he barely had to practice for it. In his experience, he'd encountered several of the creatures, or at the very least, chased down the trail of their scents. Others were creatures that his father had warned him about, had advised him against approaching. The rest were all carved into memory from textbooks and class lectures.
✘ Healing - E
______ Certain aspects of the class come more easily to him than others, but he had to take great time and care in order to do so. He guessed on a few questions though, which was probably what dropped him down a score.
✘ Wandless Magic - T
______ Tristan tried, Merlin, did he try. But he couldn't seem to remember a single thing from class; or nothing important anyway; because he can remember Professor Denier's voice, and her smile, and her hair... but... not an actual word that she had said. Daydreaming without realizing it, his time was almost up and he was forced to answer questions at random, not even bothering to read, just circled and filled in the blanks. None of the spells he tried to perform wandlessly had worked in the way he had hoped, his accio spell was unbalanced and the object soared past his head instead of in his hand; the incendio charm was a tuft of smoke, and nothing more; and he couldn't even conjure a protego charm, no matter how hard he tried.
✘ Wandlore Studies - A
______ Tristan could have done better, but again, he wasn't reading everything in full and continued to skim through the directions and answers hoping to finish the test as quickly as possible.
