xXx Joel Powell's NEWTs xXx
Core Classes:
♋ Charms NEWT - EE
- Charms for Joel was pretty simple. While he wasn't the most gifted person in his class, he was pretty adept at the charms they had learned. Therefore he got an Exceeds Expectations.
♋ Defence Against the Dark Arts NEWT - O
- Defence Against the Dark Arts was probably Joel's easiest class. He had no issues with any of the practical aspects of the class, and he found that he could actually pay attention during some of the drearier parts. He got an Outstanding as a result.
♋ Transfiguration NEWT - EE
- Transfiguration was actually a tougher class than Joel thought it would be, but he still managed to do well enough in it. He actually studied for the exam when it was getting close, and managed to get an Exceeds Expectations as a result.
Elective Classes:
♋ Cursebreaking NEWT - A
- Cursebreaking was okay for Joel, but he had his sights set on something else he wanted to do for a living. While he could see the uses for the class, he just didn't think it would really work for someone that was going to be a quidditch player, and therefore only got an Acceptable in it.
♋ Healing Class NEWT - EE
- Healing was one of the better classes that Joel took, if for no other reason than he saw every kind of sports injury that was possible in both football and quidditch. He figured it'd be a good idea to take the class, and managed to get an Exceeds Expectations when it was all said and done.
♋ Wandless Magic Practice Class NEWT - A
- Wandless Magic was an okay class for Joel. It was certainly harder than he first figured, but he still persevered through it to actually be decent at it. He got an Acceptable for his hard work.
