Astronomy ~EE
Eira confused her parents when she continued taking this course, actually confusing many, but she found learning about the stars and planetary alignments not only thrilling what with how they correlate to magical use but also because of how soothing it could be to stare at nothing. She might have admittedly done more of that aspect than the studying one when it came to this test which was how she got less than a perfect score.
Potions ~EE
She had patience in spades and had thought she'd studied all that she needed to for this NEWT and had passed the written portion with flying colors. However when it came time for the actual brewing she might have overzealously added in one more lacewing than needed throwing off the color just a tint. Its a mistake that didn't cost her the entire test but definitely cost her an O.
Arithmancy ~EE
Eira enjoyed the math of arithmancy and actually enjoyed studying for the exam though the night before it she had, unknowingly, studied from texts that were at least half a decade older than the ones used for the tests and didn't realize this until she was comparing the notes to those she had taken while in class. Thankfully not much has changed in the world of numbers but she still flipped an equation the wrong way and scraped out of a perfect grade.
Mythology ~A
As much as Eira liked mythology and enjoyed taking time to learn about myths, factoids, and unusual and sometimes fantismal plot construction, she couldn't and didn't coordinate much studying time towards the class as she did the others. As such her grade was definitively lower than the others.
Study of Ancient Runes~EE
Much like arithmancy, Eira very much enjoyed the logistics and scientific nature of this class, however unlike arithmancy there was a lot more allowed for translation. For example, during her exam when she had thought she had blessed her proctor with a long meaningful life, she had actually blessed him with a long banal one instead. Thankfully the rest of her exam went smoothly so she didn't lose out on a higher grade.
