- ✹ HARDWORKING Arianell was taught to be diligent, studious, and persevere. Failure only makes her more determined to try and try again until it's perfect.
✹ ASSERTIVE She doesn't like to be ignored, shushed, or rolled over. Arianell is keen on making herself seen and heard whenever she has an opinion. Her mother taught her to stand up for herself, but also to be compliant when it serves a purpose in the long run. (Like not getting in trouble.)
✹ DECEITFUL Arianell has grown up with the thought that lying is the best thing a girl can learn to do. To smile when she's angry, to laugh when she'd rather cry, and to be nice when she'd rather claw someone's eyes out.
✹ SECRETIVE Arianell is not one to give too much of herself away. She prefers not to broadcast her opinions and feelings unless deemed necessary. It takes her a while to warm up to people before letting down her guard.
✹ OBSESSIVE Even as a baby, she has always had an addictive personality. First it was her pacifier, then sugary sweets and syrup-y juices. When she starts a game or project, she throws all of herself into it until she's burned out and moves on to the next obsession.
✹ GOSSIP Arianell lives for gossip. Just because she doesn't like to talk about herself doesn't mean she doesn't like to talk about other people. (And not always behind their backs.) She wants to know everything going on about everyone around her.

- CHILDHOOD Before Arianelle was born, her father, Andras Blodwen, had been previously married. After nearly twenty-five years that childless marriage came to an abrupt halt when his wife had passed away in a greenhouse "accident"; her earmuffs were broken and a mandrake cry had killed her. At 61, he met 19 year old Iola Jernigan, and at 63 and 21 respectively, they were married with their first child on the way.
Arianell Blodwen was born in Newport, Wales. Iola was a young and inexperienced mother. Andras was very keen on having his children raised in a strict, rigid style. Arianell had little independence growing up; she was always told how to act and what to say. Her father spent much of his time tutoring her and her mother rather liked to pretend that Arianell was an accessory to her outfit, or a doll to play with.
Despite his age, her father wanted an heir. Eventually, Isolde was born. She was a near opposite of Arianell in almost every way. Ari was fair and delicate and graceful, Iso was dark, brooding, and clumsy. Occasionally, they fought. Over clothing, sweets, or attention from their parents. The fighting stopped but Arianell traded it for something more subtle; undermining comments, snide looks, and sabotage. As they grew older, Arianell happily followed the life planned out for her, Isolde decided to rebel. But the attention they received divided when their mother was pregnant once again, and this time with a baby boy. Cai was the precious baby; the favorite. He could do no wrong in their eyes. Arianell took this as a challenge to strive harder for their affection.
At the late age of ten, she finally began to display little acts of magic. Small things, items being rearranged, temporary hovering charms, or color change charms. The tension of planning her eleventh birthday had suddenly eased knowing, without a doubt, they could expect an owl on that day.
SCHOOL YEARS
- FIRST YEAR [2038-39] Arianell was not fond of life in the Real World™. Nobody would listen to her or do anything she said, the boys were immature and the girls were stupid. She didn't quite fit in with anyone at school but she made do. Maybe not always in the nicest way, but people almost seemed to expect that from her. She couldn't understand why.

SECOND YEAR [2039-40] Arianell became best friends with a French first year, Chloe (NPC). She was pureblood, haughty, rich, and just as shallow. They became inseparable. During the following summer, Chloe moved back to France leaving Arianell on another search to make friends.

THIRD YEAR [2040-41] Arianell kept to her small circle of elites throughout the year. Only mildly pausing to harass lesser students. Like Zachary Whitethorne, the half-vampire that's just too smug for his own good. She was not pleased with their encounter at the start of the year and effectively glared or ignored him for the remained of her time at school.
___ EXTRACURRICULARS Joined the newspaper club, The Daily Dragon.
FOURTH YEAR [2041-42] Arianell kept out of trouble for the year, she enthralled all of herself into her new boyfriend until the day her jealousy caught up with her, and they broke up.

FIFTH YEAR [2042-43] Overall a quiet year, Arianell was busy with her studies, exams, and responsibilities to the newspaper club.

SIXTH YEAR [2043-44] Arianell squabbled and argued her way through the school year, only being peaceful during her time at the Daily Dragon. Even if she was pissed about being passed up for leading the club.
