Personality: Shya has no siblings, however she and her canine familiar Noelle, who resembles a white Maltese, are like sisters. Both are youthfully upbeat gals. And, it is a family joke that the two are actually twins or clones. Though a part of Shya is a fan of fun and games, she also has another what-her-family-calls-stubborn side to her. In particular, what the latter refers to is that she's career-focused in terms of her future imaginings and is often identified as the odd one out in the family in terms of her avoidance of more than platonic relationships in comparison to her mother and aunt.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Since she last saw her mother who ran off with mother's-boyfriend-#-n-at-the-time, Shya had been in the care of her aunt (her mother's older sister and only sibling) or vice versa at times as both're working together to keep a long-standing family store in business. However, when Shya voiced her interest to pursue studies at Amityville Academy and apply lessons learned to help the family business, her aunt was supportive of this.
