        Items
          • Rubber Body: Zeus can absorb lightning attacks and soften impact-type damage. Any excess energy is automatically discharged across her skin at a low current.
          • Kinetic Generators: Zeus can generate electricity through movement and friction.
          • Ixiom: A unique longsword specially crafted with inlaid copper to conduct electricity better. Can act as a lightning rod and direct lightning-based attacks to or from it.

          • Hellion Armor: Liam can absorb fire as a health source and supplement required blood. Any excess thermal energy is channeled into a flame aura that activates against opponents for low constant damage.
          • Thermal Lining: Zeus can alter the temperature around him by absorbing or discharging heat from the environment or objects/organisms.
          • Ifrit: Unique blood mage clawed gloves specially crafted for harvesting blood from opponents. Can draw spilled blood to the fingertips.

        The History
            Also known as the Heroes of Altmen, Zeus and Liam Northstar are a married couple that lived in a small unknown coastal town near a vampire stronghold. To combat the threat, the couple worked together to create a small army of enchanted Dolls to storm the forested fort and slay the vampires. The plan was effective, and all of the vampires in the stronghold were slain in a night.
            What the couple didn't plan on was that one of the slain vampires was a favorite child of the leader of a much stronger vampire cult up north. The cult came down and razed the town, turning everyone into vampires and killing the Dolls. The leader took it upon herself to violently turn Liam into a vampire in front of Zeus, then kill Zeus in front of Liam. From the coastal town, the cult spread throughout the Altmen territories unchecked, their numbers growing until the land was considered inhabitable by natural life.

            What the vampires didn't plan on was that the Northstars had a backup plan. A pair of Dolls were made using soul stone cores that were attuned to their own souls, that their souls would be pulled into the new bodies when they passed. Zeus, in her new body, emerged from the charred rubble that was their home and found Liam, a neophyte vampire, thirsting for blood and finding none. Together, they traveled throughout Altmen in search of the cult, collecting animals for Liam to feed on and killing vampires as they found them. Eventually, the cult took action against the couple and chased them into the stronghold near their old coastal town. With the help of a tortured woman and a defecting vampire, Zeus and Liam found several vampire lord artifacts that could help Liam transcend his fate. He picked two, and the group lured the entirety of the vampire cult to the stronghold.

            Days later, most the cult had been killed and subsequently hunted down or driven out. An investigation was performed, the Altmen territories were deemed safe for natural life again, and the group was officially granted the title of Northstar Heroes. The group then parted ways. The couple returned to Altmen and rebuilt their hometown, faithfully waiting for individuals with similar backgrounds and histories to join them.
            Two hundred years later, Altmen was still widely believed by the populace to be a land of unnatural life, where nothing good could live. The territory was divided up among the kingdoms, the Northstar's coastal town taken from them. Their Hero titles earned them a place in Dragon Castle's Luxury Wing, where even there they are treated with mistrust due to their unnatural lives and the twisted misinterpretations of their original stories. Now, they serve as a small strike team against specific threats foreign and domestic, unknown Heroes without history among the current generation, their story only known to other immortals and long-lived races.

        History
              The leaders of the Red Wing Vampire Coven in Baston, their power spread into the Altmen territories for a time, until an unlikely couple rose from the ashes and destroyed everything that they worked hard for. The leaders survived the purging of their Coven from the territories and went into hiding for hundreds of years, rebuilding their power in secret in the slums of Baston until they had managed to regain a foothold in politics and secured their Coven's place once again. The Red Wing Coven regularly does business with Dragon Castle and is generally treated as a nonthreatening organization on account of the fact that their activities are generally favorable towards Baston and Dragon Castle...except for the times when it isn't.

        The History
            Takkar is a beastmage from the Wildlands and the leader of the Wenja tribe. He has fought other tribes and their gods, emerging triumphant each time thanks to his attunement to nature and martial prowess. A seasoned forager, warrior, and tracker, Takkar has trouble speaking languages other than druidic. This tends to create a language barrier between himself and other not of the Wildlands. His current mission is to find a beastmage girl from his village that went missing some days ago.

            Focus: increases Senua's dexterity and movement speed, and allows Senua to see through illusions.
            Valravn, God of Illusions: by channeling this God's power, Senua can summon shadow forms of herself as decoys that deal real combat damage. She can also use this power to emit a disorienting scream, temporarily turn her sword into a scythe, and summon ravens to do her bidding.
            Surtr, Giant of Fire: by channeling this Giant's power, Senua can summon illusory flames that deal damage to nearby opponents. She can also use this power to stomp the ground and make a circle of fire appear, temporarily turn her sword into a greatsword, and increase her attack power.
            Fenrir, the Abyss Wolf: by channeling this abyssal power, Senua can expel a dark shade from her body to cloud the battlefield and reduce visibility. She can also use this power to increase jump height and fall distance, temporarily turn her sword into heavy metal claws, and summon a dire wolf to aid her in battle.
            Madness: several voices occupy Senua's head at all times, toying with her fragile mental state but also indicating clues and directing her in battle. The voices she carries around are louder than most other external voices, giving her a significant resistance to possession and confusion.

        Items
            Senua carries a handheld mirror that she can use to see around blind spots or compose herself, thus boosting her poise and Focus. She carries around a foreign sword inscribed with her own Celtic runes, thus increasing her resistance to attack- and defense-lowering skills. She also carries a small knapsack for her flask and foodstuffs, all wrapped in a makeshift grappling hook.

        The History
            Senua is a wayward Celtic who had just completed a mind-rending trial of self-realization and facing her demons. Her partner had been sacrificed to foreign gods, her village burned to the ground, and so she has nowhere to return to, nowhere to call home. The voices in her head have been with her since the beginning of the razing, tormenting her always and never giving her a moment's rest or a good night's sleep. While some company would likely alleviate her issues, she cannot communicate in common tongues known to the other races of Dragon Castle. She is rather fluent in the druidic language thanks to her manipulative druid father, Zymbel.

        Personality
            Lawrence is quite mature for other men his age. He excels in everything related to business and he takes pride in that fact, he enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge with Juline who is a quick study and he sometimes doesn't give enough credit to her. He has traveled alone most of his life so he doesn't always pick up social cues especially from Juline and other women. Juline sometimes has to spell things out for Lawrence until he gets it. Lawrence is a practical person when it comes to material possessions, one who doesn't purchase things he doesn't need (at least until Juline joined him). Lawrence takes his word seriously and keeps his promises as best he can especially with Juline.

        Powers and Abilities
          • Salesman: Can convince enemies to buy recovery items from him at 2.4 times the selling price. The success rate of the sale depends on the item.
          • Pharmacy: Purchase a recovery item and use it on a single target.
          • More Money: Earn 1.5 times more money than normal.
          • Full Leverage: For five of Lawrence's posts, damage, recovery, and the health/mana/stamina required for abilities and attacks will be double the usual for allies and enemies.
          • Low Leverage: For five of Lawrence's posts, damage, recovery, and the health/mana/stamina required for abilities and attacks will be half the usual for allies and enemies.
          • Payoff: Spend money to buy off an enemy and end the battle (depends on enemies).

        The History
            Lawrence grew up in a poor village to which he was not attached by particularly fond memories. When he was twelve, he became an apprentice to a merchant relative and set out on his own at eighteen, with his trusty horse as his first purchase. He had been working independently on his own for seven years until he met Juline. By then he had established a decent network of contacts in the region and a decent reputation.

          • Twin Daggers: Serve as catalyst for Infernal Summoning. Can be used to summon quick and easy summons such as imps, hounds, and various other smaller beasts.
          • Staff: Serves as a catalyst for Infernal Summoning. Can be used for group summons and larger beings. However, while using summoning magic through his staff, Horrin must channel his energy, which requires minimal movement and intense concentration.
          • Various potions on hand

        The History
            A fairly obscure warlock in the Nether World, Horrin Lambell has always been keen to the Fel Arts from a young age due to his father's teachings. Sensing his potential, he was sent to harness his powers within the Demon Sanction.

            The sanction was a place for those gifted in Fel Magic to further develop themselves and evolve their powers. Although his father taught him well, Horrin was lackluster in Conjuring and Enchantments. However, he had a deep burning passion and talent for Summoning. The ability to create and control such powerful demons with such little effort became an escape from his inability to progress further in other schools of magic. Latching onto the one thing he was good at, Horrin continuously sought out more and more powerful infernal beings to summon, the likes of which had only been hinted at in ancient scrolls. However, his reliance on raw talent alone only got him so far. Fellow infernal summoners view Horrin as a hack and a sham, whereas abyssal and heavenly summoners see him as an easy target for quick combat experience. These external impressions mixed negatively with Horrin, giving him an inferiority complex that severely undermines his ability to form a lasting relationship with any other practitioner of magic.

            During his childhood, Horrin grew up with his father on the streets of the kingdom of Alliran. His father was not extremely wealthy but got by with selling various trinkets and baubles he acquired throughout his travels, and the small family lived in a rather comfortable financial environment. The store, a voodoo shop of sorts, was a place Horrin could call home and he did not mind being assigned to tend to the place after working hours were over. After his daily duties, Horrin would scurry into his room with an eager curiosity to indulge in his father's teachings before bed. It was not until the age of 12 that his father recognized Horrin's innate talent for dark magic and sent him to the Demon Sanction.

            As a parting gift, Horrin's father entrusted him with the family imp, Gremzal. His personality is rather timid and he speaks extremely fast, causing him to stumble over his words fairly frequently. He is soulbound to Horrin, marking him as different from other summoned demons in that Horrin can locate Gremzal and summon him at will with little effort. Furthermore, they can read each other's thoughts and sense each other's emotions even across different planes. However, when a warlock is soulbound to a demon, should either of them die within their natural plane, they will both die. Despite this, Gremzal is happy to serve his new master and will do anything to please him.

            Now well into adulthood and looking for more ways to expand his power, Horrin scours the world for new infernal beings to add to his repertoire.

Genetically spellcoded for Natrium's use only.
          • Combat Goggles: a pair of enchanted goggles designed to protect the wearer's eyes from sand, wind, or rain. It can also reduce the effect of certain spells designed for impairing sight, such as Blind, Flash, or Darksight. Effective only when worn.
          • Halite Cape: an enchanted cloak that enables short-range teleportation and deflection of ranged attacks.


        The History
            Natrium Chloride is an earth-based demigod exiled from her home plane after she lost a crucial battle against the apocalypse. She was found by a band of gypsies wandering the Lands of Distal, dazed and confused, nothing with her but the items in her possession, and traveled with them to Dragon's Castle. Known for her propensity to attract lightning wherever she goes and her keen interest in breaking the unbreakable, Natrium threw in her lot with the alchemists and mages of the Mystic Wing, and is now a seasoned adventurer and survivalist. Dedicated to learning the weaknesses of the Dragon's Castle, that she may better defend it against its enemies.

        History
              The famed Lifeless Army of the Northstars, Puppet Soldiers were branded as a means to fight battles without unnecessary death and were quite popular a century ago wherever the Northstars were to be found. Despite their name, Puppet Soldiers can be utilized for a variety of jobs, ranging from menial labor to hazardous work. The puppets were for rental use only, could not be reverse engineered, and internally self-destructed as a means of a tamper seal. Their outstanding success at eliminating the Red Beak Coven is countered by their abysmal failure at protecting against the Red Talon Coven, and as such only the Northstars have seen fit to use their creations.
