Right when Ter started getting a migraine, Leon looked to him a bit concerned. "Everything go-" He was about to ask but then noticed his complexion change in a matter of seconds. He stepped back a few steps just in case he was about to have an episode or something. Obviously, this is something Leon wasn't familiar with.

He stood up as he put his hand on Ter's shoulder. "After this, why don't the both of us chat what that was about....?" He said quietly just between themselves. He then looked at everyone. "If you don't wanna be down here. Come up here. I'd like to get out of here fast before enemy intel knows we are here." He said to everyone as he moved the shattered glass to the side so nobody steps on it.

Lenora sighed for a moment, bringing up the tension a bit with her silence. Before long, however, she relented. "Alright. You're right. We won't be able to hold out here forever, and I doubt I speak just for myself when I say I'd rather that none of us died today."

The other members of the Citadel still inside the battlefield each showed their agreement in their own way. "Right," I sighed raggedly, this whole ordeal having drained me a bit, though we haven't even gotten to the hard part of the mission yet. "The plan should be obvious. Have the majority of your remaining defenders fall back to the western exit of the city. The enemy might be expecting us to move for Skyarrow, so Leon and I will take the lead and wipe as many of them out as we can, while your fighters will guard our escape in case the enemy tries anything desperate."

Lenora nodded, and the eight of us followed Leon out. Once outside, Lenora addressed her small army. "Alright, everyone! We're moving out. Fall back to the western exit of the city!"

I nudged Leon's shoulder gently with mine to get his attention. "We're taking the lead. Hope you're up for some stress relief, because there'll be plenty of enemies to beat up on our way to the Skyarrow Bridge."

"Stress relief? More like a lot more work." He scratched his head in a bit of annoyance. He knew they would have to fight their way out, but he was just really hoping to sneak through enemy lines in order to get back to HQ faster. "But, if I have no choice. I guess I'll play along." He said as his Roselia was a bit annoyed by his attitude. He looked at her. "...Don't give me that look. Let's just get this done quickly." Roselia hopped off of his shoulder as she started heading up the stairs.

Leon headed up the stairs as well as he looked around to see if there were anything suspicious. Now that the convinced the group on abandoning this place, he couldn't help but be on high alert.

It took a minute for everyone not already guarding the western exit to get there, particularly the defenders guarding the eastern exit. Though the enemy did stop their assault to raid the unguarded city, I'm a bit reluctant to call that a good thing, even though it let us regroup at the western exit with little trouble.

Once everyone was ready, I let Haku and Reese out of their balls. "Alright, you two. Get their attention. Draco Meteor." I ordered Haku and Reese happily gathered Dragon-type energy into orbs which they then flung into the enemy lines, crushing a few underneath and knocking most back.

"Alright, charge!" I yelled, running toward the opening in the enemy lines with Haku and Reese beside me. That was basically the plan. Push the enemy back and advance. Repeat until we arrive at our destination.

Leon was in the back of the group to make sure they wouldn't be flanked from behind. He then noticed everyone stopped as he moved towards the front ideally where he thought Ter was as he noticed he took out two Pokeballs as he commanded them to use Draco Meteor. He bit his groaned loudly. "You can't be serious." Finally, Roselia had enough of his laziness as she smacked him with her roses. He rubbed his cheeks. "Alright alright. Here have Pyroar help at least." He threw out a Pokeball as Pyroar came out as knelt down to let Roselia ride on his head.

"...Do what you want." He said blatantly as both of his Pokemon just stared at him. He grinned as he let out a soft chuckle. "Okay. okay. Let's get this done quick for dinner. That way Ulla doesn't make us Malasadas again. Pyroar Roar. Roselia, if any of their Pokemon go back in their Pokeballs and another one comes out, poison them with Poison Jab." Both of them nodded as Pyroar started running into the crowds. Leon yawned as he scratched the side of his leg with his food. Pyroar was dodging Haku and Reese Draco Meteor perfectly as he let out a big Roar. Numerous of their Pokemon were sent back into their Pokeballs while others popped out a different Pokemon. When that happened, Roselia would jump down and jab them with Poison Jab.

I pushed the offensive, having Haku and Reese use Draco Meteor to clear some space any time we ran out of room to advance and making sure the Citadel's forces kept moving. When the enemy amassed a group of Fairy-types to challenge Haku and Reese, Odo came out and Sludge Waved them away. When the enemy amassed a group of Ice-types, Angeal came out with Flamethrower, which Reese helped with.

The enemy tried to flank us from the sides a few times, but Lenora and the Striation Triplets prevented that with their Pokemon, while the defense force kept the enemy from sneaking up from behind with the help of Leon's status-based strategy. I needed to remember to compliment him on that later.

The problem came when we made it to the end of Pinwheel Forest. The bulk of the enemy's forces were on Skyarrow Bridge, fighting against the Indigo Alliance army stationed there. While we could easily push for space on our path away from Nacrene before, we would have to work for it, now. I let Rala and Sauron out as I knew I'd need all six of my Pokemon for this.

Leon as Ter pulled out all six of his Pokemon, he sighed as he looked back at the group they were escorting. "You guys were talking about standing your ground back there yet your not helping us push forward? Pick up the pace." He said in almost a taunting manner as he pulled out one last Pokeball as a Zubat popped out. When the Zubat popped out though, he turned to face Leon as he flew towards him and hugged his face obscuring Leon's vision. Leon grabbed the Zubat from the back of the neck and pulled him off. "Must you do that every time?" The Zubat nodded repetitively happily. Leon groaned as he let the Zubat go as it joined with Roselia and Pyroar. "You see that over there? We need to get back with the Alliance lines to bring these guys to safety. So that means we gotta push through got it?"

All of his Pokemon nodded as they all faced forward towards the enemy. "Let's get this done, you guys know the drill. Either poison them, or burn them. Understand?" Once they all heard that command, Roselia jumped onto Pyroar's back and Zubat flew overhead ready to strike. He noticed in the group, a lot of them were looking at him weirdly. He stared at them blankly. "...What? Stats that hurt another Pokemon overtime while still battling is one of the best things. Leaves my Pokemon and I less work to do."

I thought that we'd have an easier time moving through Pinwheel Forest's cleared out area than Skyarrow, but the opposite proved to be true. While there were more enemy forces in the latter than the former, getting flanked by Citadel and Indigo Alliance forces proved to be far more effective than I had realized. On top of that, while we had to worry about the enemy jumping out of the trees in the forest, we could focus on the enemy ahead of us almost exclusively on the bridge.

Because of that, we still had a little fight left in us once we passed friendly lines. Or at least I did. Nevertheless, we were welcomed by the forces of the alliance. Some of the remainder of the Citadel's defensive force joined the fight with the Indogo Alliance's army alongside the gym leaders travelling with us, Professor Jupiter alongside Dr. Fennel and Amanita took refuge in Castelia. Our mission complete, I had Rala teleport Leon and myself back to HQ.
