Brian and Grace walked toward the Coordination Club room to pick out a costume for Brian. From what he'd heard, the theme this year was monsters. So he wanted to find something that piqued his interest, but at the same time, something that wouldn't scare Grace. As he reached the club room, he noticed that there were three other people already there, including (to his surprise) his roommate, Jericho. And Mokihana was here, as well. Brian remembered seeing the girl at the daycare, though he didn't actually know her name. The third person, Brian did recognize. Iris, the female Flygon rep from the opening ceremony. Seeing that the three were talking, he didn't really want to interrupt, but he did need a costume. "Ah, pardon me, but I'm looking for a costume," he said, hoping to draw someone's attention.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXSecond year as the year that Makoto would join some clubs and excel more than she did in her first. Coordination was something she enjoyed in her first year and maybe she'd join that one first. She knew Sensu style dancing so maybe she could put that into her performance. Makoto got ready to go toward the Coordination Club to talk to Iris Haruno to see if she could join. She couldn't see a reason why she wouldn't be able to join. She didn't have any quarrels with Iris. Then again, she didn't have any problems with anyone. She was just in her room the majority of her first year.
Makoto clapped her hands beside her and smiled, looking in the mirror. Inari, Kairi and Momo squeaked smiling at their trainer. She turned and hugged all of them, "Alright let's go." She then grabbed her bag, returned Kairi and Momo and left the room, going toward the club. Once there, she went in and went to talk to Iris.
"Hey, Iris." Makoto waited for a response and then smiled lightly, "I was wondering if you had some room for one more to join the Coordination Club?"

Iris paused as Mokihana told her to pick up something that was fitting of the holiday. This was her first challenge as president. She had to use her eyes and keen sense of style and flair to pick a costume for this girl. Her classes in coordination were about to play off as she sat Hana down. Iris scanned through the racks of costumes until she had two of them in her arms to left Hana feel and 'see' if one of these interested her. Both of them were witch costumes but one was all white whille the other was black and orange. "Here we go." Iris said as she panted a little. She gave Hana the white one first when the door opened to reveal another students. It was Brian from her house. Before she could ask if he needed help, he was already asking about looking for a costume. Iris nodded her head. "Sure, then." Iris replied. She looked at her arms as she help the other costume before giving it to Bebe to hold with her vines. "You can check the racks yourself or you can tell me what kind of costumes you're looking for. We have this year's theme as well as other types too."
Iris was about to return to Bebe and the black and orange costume when the doors opened once more. This time it was Makoto......right? Iris remembered the girl from last year but had no other lasting impression aside from that. Well, she wasn't mean so that was a start... a good one at that.
"Hey Makoto," Iris waved before being asked about joining the coordination club. Iris paused in surprise and awe. "REALLY?!" Iris exclaimed before clearing her throat and calming herself down."My bad, I mean we sure do. We got plenty of space for a newcomer. The paperwork is the table so you have a surface area to work on. Please come to me if you have any questions."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXMakoto smile and nodded as she turned to grab an application. Inari followed, sitting down as Makoto worked on her application. Iris seemed to be excited about it, so Makoto didn't have a worry in her mind. Inari looked around at the others currently in the room and then at Makoto once she was done.
Makoto looked over her application, making sure it was all correct. When it was double checked, she took it to Iris and handed it to her, smiling lightly, "I'm done."

Sky walked into the coordination club with their headphones on. Not celebrating Spirit Day where they came from ( although Halloween surely was a thing, it was often a social event where they wore formal clothes and an elegant mask, and both items were things Sky had not taken with them) and not really having had the chance to see if a similar holiday existed in Ocepulid Town, the child had not really packed anything like the costumes their schoolmates were showing. There were other reasons of course, Sky had debated staying indoors today. Actually now that they looked around they thought maybe that was a good idea. Glancing from a custom with a skirt to one that covered the user from head to toe, Sky tried them both on unsurely before putting them back. Neither would work really.

Koru casually ran ahead to the Coordination Club room. Time was lost when she realized that today the clubs were starting activities for SPirit Day. While Spirit Day wasn’t her favorite holiday, she knew you couldn’t be a good celebration without a costume. She took a sharp turn with Quilava following alongside her, a lot better than Cyndaquil did in the past. He was slowly getting used to his newfound height and speed, but his new power was daunting to him. She skipped into the room where others were also getting their costumes. She spotted a green haired girl in a vampire costume, it had to be Iris,"Yo Iris! Think you could help me come up with a costume?"She caressed the side of her neck and laughed nervously,"I sorta lost track of time today..."
Quilava tapped her knee with his paw and cooed. She gave him her attention and she could tell what he was going on about,”Oh right! Check this out!"she pulled one of her pokeballs from her waist and activated it. From the ball, a large spread of black and yellow wings outstretched and deep orange body took form. The Pokemon perched on her shoulder and allowed Koru to scratch it under the chin,"I thought Fletchling was sick this morning, but he was just trying to evolve! This is Fletchinder now hehehe,"The bird cooed and pecked at his wings. She laughed and caught eye of Makoto by the information table. She shuffled closer and spoke to her friend with glee,"Koto! Hey are you joining this club? Oh oh oh check out Fletchinder!"She felt more than excited to share her newly evolved pokemon with her friend.
Iris collected the application from Makoto and placed it with the others. She inwardly squealed at all the small stack of papers she had for the new people that wanted to join her club. She couldnt wait to tell Ms. Ezra about it. She smiled at Makoto. "If you want you can take a look around. Get some ideas for costumes if you wanna change it up or maybe you wanna have your pokmon wear them.... You have a vulpix if I remember..." Iris kind of trailed off in thought before she went to assist the others.
She was getting herself into a nice rhythm. She was handing off a costume when someone called her. Iris turned her head to see Koru walking towards her. "Hey Koru," Iris said as the girl sheepishly admitted that she had lost track of time. Iris chuckled as a result. "Been there, done that plenty of times. We can get into a costume real quick too." Iris gave Koru a thumbs up just as Koru's Quilava pawed at the trainer. The action resulted in Koru remembering something as she told Iris to look at something. Iris nodded her head as Koru let out the Fletchinder. Now she remembered that Koru had a Fletchling, so either Koru got a new pokemon or...
Iris clapped her hands in delight as Koru announced that instead of being ill, her Fletching had instead evolved into the pokemon before her. "Congrats Koru." Iris cheered her friend before looking at the pokemon. "And congrats to you too Fletchinder. You're getting stronger and stronger." Iris started to think about her pokemon. Which worked since Koru had spotted Makoto and started to talk to her. Hers were still in their first forms but they were still pretty strong. She could imagine had they would look once they evolved. If they evolved.

She cheerfully chuckled alongside her friend's admiration. Fletchling looked at Iris for a moment then cooed once more before flying off of her shoulder. His wingspan was a lot bigger than before. Even with the festivities going on, all Koru could think about was training and finding out what her newly evolved buddy could do now. Fletchling landed on Quilava's back and got comfortable, but now Quilava was nervously trying to sit still as to not disturb him,"He sure has been liking the attention since it happened, but now he's acting like it's not a big deal,"
Once Iris agreed to help with costumes Koru sighed relieved,"That's awesome thank ya!"she took a peek at some of the costumes avaliable. She couldn't really get a solid idea of what she wanted. Last year was easy, she loves Ampharos almost as much as fire type pokemon, but regular horror monsters? She stayed away from that kinda stuff but everyone appeared to have a pretty good grip on it. She turned back to Iris and asked,”Do you have anything in mind Iris? I have no idea what to pick...Do you guys?"she asked her pokemon, who responded either with a shake of the head or no response at all. She scoffed and went back to the rack,"Of course...you guys don't have any clothes...you don't have to make these decisions."

Inari ruffled her tail before, standing almost at attention when Koru came in the door along with Quilava and a Fletchinder that was new. Makoto then turned toward the costumes before Koru even came in. Luckily Inari was watching out.
When Koru's voice was heard, Makoto turned to look at her and Inari already running up to Quilava to show him how she got shiny fur now. "I am checking out the club." Her smile couldn't be more genuine. "Oooh look at you!" She said to the Fletchinder perched on Koru's shoulder. "Congratulations, Koru! Inari got into my bedazzler. So now she's a shiny." Makoto then pointed down at Inari. "They were playing Inari knocked over my bag."

Koru gawked at the now shiny Inari. She had no explanation for why she didn't notice it before? She bent down and rubbed Inari under her chin, hearing a sweet coo from hitting the right spot,"She's such a cutie already this blasts it up a hundred percent! What do you think Quilava? You guys kinda match now,"Quilava perked up then blushed and shied away from Inari's attention. Fletchling only sighed at his friend's reaction. Koru giggled and stood back up explaining,"It's funny that's how Cyndaquil got shiny-fied...shinified....got shiny-"the girl started to get tongue tied. She stuck her tongue out giving up trying to say it right and continued looking through the rack with her friend.
She paused noticing the edge of a kimono like garment. When she pulled it out she awed,”Oooooo look at this one! This is jsut like the kabuki costumes back home,"resting against the outfit was a pair of horns and she gasped, eyes sparkling their bright golden color,"OOooooooooo it's a Oni costume! I gotta try this out!"She snagged it from the rack and skipped to the dressing area the club had set up at the end of the room while chanting,Oni oni cha! Oni oni cha!"
Time seemed to quickly pass, or at least enough time someone would expect to put on a kimono the correct way, and Koru stepped out in her Oni garb. It was...definitely more cutesy than the ferocious Oni Koru had in mind, but being in a kimono was something she did enjoy more than regular dress,"Whelp I'm oni-fied what'd'ya guys think?"
Fletchinder pecked at his wings and Quilava fell into a panic noticing the horns on top of Koru's head. He scampered over, Fletchinder still on his back, "La lav qui lav lava?!" She took them off for a second to show him,"No it's okay see- they're not real it's a headband!"
