OWLs:
Astronomy: {EE} While astronomy was not his favorite subject and he never totally understood why make it a core subject, he did feel it was important to do well as it was a core subject. Quinn was satisfied with his EE in the course and expected to do no better or worse.
Charms: {O} Quinn studied hard for almost all his classes, especially his core classes and Charms was no exception. He found charms not particularly difficult and with his dedicated studying happily managed an O.
DADA: {O} Quinn worked hard in all his core classed, and knowing the importance of Defense Against the Arts dedicated a little extra time studying for the exam. In the end his hard work paid off and he was very happy with his O.
Herbology: {A} The theory behind Herbology was simple enough to grasp, overcoming his brown thumb and his fear of Professor Hill in his early years, not so easy. He hoped to do a little bit better in this exam but was happy enough to survive it with an A. He has his doubts of continuing the course anyways.
History of Magic: {EE} Quinn always believed in studying hard, even for classes he didn't absolutely love. History he felt was important and he liked the professor so he worked hard to do well. If he hadn't decided to do so many electives and was forced to divide his time studying he likely would have gotten the O he would have preferred.
Potions: {O} Potions, thanks to his Aunt Sophie, he learned at an early age was a vital subject and studied the subject much like his life depended on it. His hard work and dedication paid off.
Transfiguration: {EE} Quinn studied hard for this course like the rest of his core courses, however, a small mistake resulted in an EE much to his disappointment as he hoped for an O, though he was still happy with his grade and knew he could have done much worse.
Alchemy: {O} Quinn enjoyed alchemy quite a lot and found the fundamentals very similar to potions a class he was also quite skilled in.
Arithmancy: {O} Arithmancy was a subject that came easy to him, and if it didn't having an aunt just in Hogsmeade who used to teach the subject he had no fear in this subject. He easily managed a perfect score in this subject and was quite happy with how he did in the course and exam.
Care of Magical Creatures: {P} Quinn liked to think himself a patient, kind, and intelligent individual. In fact if you wanted to ask how to care for a magical creature he could usually give you a detailed and skilled answer; however, he never seemed to have a good knack for being a caretaker of magical creatures. In his exam he in fact did spectacularly awful and accidentally scared the specimen resulting in him having to go to the hospital wing.
Cursebreaking: {EE} Cursebreaking had always been a notoriously difficult course, even with Quinn's hard work studying and natural knack for academics, he struggled enough in the exam to only pull an EE. Not being a true perfectionist, and practical by nature, he felt that the EE in Cursebreaking was not something to sneeze at though.
Divination: {A} Unlike Mary, Quinn never seemed to have a natural talent for divination. While he could explain the theory behind the art of divination, he could never find the talent in interpreting something so abstract such as tea reading or crystal balls.
Ghoul and Ghost Studies: {D} Why did he take this class again? He found it dreadfully boring. It was like History of Magic without the interest of reading about wars and past events. It was more like adopting a very boring 800 year old dead person. He barely bothered studying for the class and his grade reflected that. He did learn one thing though from the class: in his opinion dead people should STAY dead.
Healing: {EE} Quinn always had mixed feelings towards the course of Healing as his mother used to teach it and was a healer. He knew the class taught important skills so he worked hard and earned a grade he was quite happy with.
Mythology: {EE} Quinn truly enjoyed mythology even though he found it to be mostly rote memorization. He did quite well, though not perfect, on the exam which was not a surprise for him.
Study of Ancient Runes: {O} While many would argue that ancient runes was not generally a particularly useful course, Quinn found it enjoyable and much like a puzzle to solve. The challenge of the course drove him to do better and he end up excelling in the course much to his delight.
Wandless: {A} Quinn always wished he was more talented at wandless magic, but like many wizards it was an art that did not come naturally to him. Instead he fell with the masses as merely Acceptable.
Wandlore: {A} While Quinn found the theory of wandlore interesting, he found the class failed to peak his interest as much as the idea of the course. Deciding that wandlore was not his future, he dedicated his time to studying for other courses that he felt was more relevant to his future.
Wizard Law: {O} Quinn was always a particularly logical individual and found logic arguments enjoyable along with the memorization of the core concepts. He had expected at least an Exceeds Expectations, but happily surprised himself with an Outstanding.
