Now that Fawnbriar's kits are out of the nursing den and into the apprentice den, Shadowstar was looking forward to having her friend back. That was whenever her darling mate wasn't around. She couldn't fault the two. Being in the same clan proved just how hard Fawnbriar worked to hide their relationship because now she hardly saw one without the other!

Chuckling as she shook her head she called out to her friend, "We haven't had a chance to practice fight since we were paws! Come on, Fawnbriar you are out of practice!" Teasing the other shecat, full well knowing that Fawnbriar was not a fighter by nature, Shadowstar tried to go easy on her as she started the match.
