Time to see what this little troublemaker could do against a cat bigger than himself. She couldn't fault him for being rambunctious , even if she wished that it hadn't meant traumatizing Cardinalkit and the other smaller kits in the den.

He had so much energy in that little body, a practice battle would help to burn that off as she pondered who would make the best mentor for the paw. Parents were out, unspoken rule or just good sense, she wouldn't put a parent in charge of their own kits. The needed someone else to teach them this part of their lives.

She would start by teaching him to dodge a paw to the top of the head.
