Phosgene had been alone for some time now; what was it? Weeks? Months? It hadn’t quite been a year yet. Or he didn’t think so as well. But despite all the time that passed every day he still felt the sting of pain or the flash of anger. And each time he tried to calm himself down, he only ended up hurting himself. He would lash out and hit things and in that end up hurting himself or tiring himself out. He wanted to just curl up and let everything wash over him; let him get over all the pain and actions of his past. But that would involve death, would it not?
He was traveling now, and how long had it been since he started walking? He couldn’t remember. But his bones were starting to ache. He could feel it with each step. He had no idea where he was even walking. The half-breed huffed, a hiss of a noise taking over down toward the end of the noise. Phosgene glanced up, peering around for a moment as he stopped to gather his surroundings. His fading ears flipped slightly in front of his eyes, and he shook his head to force them back once more. He didn’t know where to go, honestly. He could go south; it would be warm there this time of year. And north in the mountains would be cooler. But what if there was nothing there for him either? He growled, his teeth gritting. If only he could figure out what would be best for him.
