SciGuy's Computer and Technology Shop and Repair

fairly well known computer and repair store set at midpoint in the city, placed somewhere between downtown, the suburbs, and the slums, and the upper districts, a perfect place to be freely accessible to everyone for their technology needs. A decent-sized building, though easily dwarfed by the nearby mall. It holds an array computers, tablets, phones and more for sale, alongside sections for custom jobs. It has a request section for customizing a computer or other item for those with specific tastes, as well as a repair section for fixing up your tech, whether hardware of software. The Store is owned and managed by Logan Jericho. For those looking for less savory or more unique assets, or to sell their own, talk to the right person and give the proper response. Below the building is the entrance to an underground market, both figurative and literal. Exotic and illegal technology, Unique drugs for medical and "recreational" purposes, alongside other contraband make their way through it.

It was a seemingly normal, uneventful day for the visitors of SciGuy's. Everyday families, parents and kids looking to shop for a new home computer, college students here to repair their phone dropped for the hundredth time, a businessman looking for a new laptop for work on the go, there was plenty of activity throughout the store. And of course there were the employees, ranging from the college kid, working to pick up some extra cash, to the nerd having the time of their lives explaining the intricacies of this monitor and that cpu, to the old-timers who weren't so lucky with their retirement. Finally, though, there were the odd ones out. A few less than savory looking folk among the crowds, really seeming to feign interest in items around them, just standing here and there or wondering about the store. And by the entrance as well as a couple doorways along the walls, simply stood a number of characters, clad in uniform, but clearly not the typical store associate. Several were rather tall, a few were pretty buff, but all of them were intimidating and meant to look that way. Their eyes were upon the crowds and the store, watching for a sign of trouble, and blocking the way towards the back rooms.

Meanwhile, in one of said back rooms, past the employee's lounge and the repair center's storage room, was another work room set behind a locked door. Within, the fizzle spark of a miniature torch could be heard. A young man sat down before a work desk covered in various spare parts and odd ends, a little space cleared for a small device, spherical in form, with creases for parts of it to shift and extend. The side was opened up as the young man worked on the inside of the device with the small torch. He didn't wear a welder's mask, rather a set of glasses, the lenses darker than any normal pair of sunglasses. He wore dark gloves over his hands, and a well-kept suite, seemingly utterly unhindered by the occasional spark here and there. A calm but absorbed smile rested on his face. It was almost done, a drone, one perfect for moving quickly and quietly, able to to slip into a space unnoticed and be his eyes and ears.

He would continue to work at the product of his ingenuity for hours, the mid day eventually fading into the coming evening. The store meanwhile kept it's atmosphere. People made their purchases, asked their questions, and dropped off their broken tech uneventfully. The young man set the tool down, sighing softly, as he leaned back in his seat. He closed the drone up, and pulled out his phone, glancing to the device as his thumb flicked across the screen. Setting his phone down, he closed his eyes, hearing the ringing softly flowing from his earbud. A gruff voice came through the phone with a click "Shadow? Is it time?" The blonde man smirked, speaking seemingly into the open air. "Sounds like you've got the goods together. Make sure it's properly packaged. Get it sent out to Gio. He'll know what to do with it." With that short conversation, he tapped his phone, and the call ended. He stood up the stretch before running a hand through his blonde bangs.

He grabbed the drone, opening his suitcase set nearby and placing it in, before walking towards the door. He glanced to the monitor's in the room as he walked, noting, unexpectedly, that the number of clients had died down significantly. He opened the door, sticking his head out, glanced to the guards on each side of the door, nodding to them, before slipping out. Adjusting his collar lightly with his free hand, he walked towards the doors, suitcase in hand, and giving a smile to those patrons around him. He stepped out the doors, leaving the store the night manager to handle and close. [exit]

The blonde man had returned that very morning as the store was just opening, coming in to check how everything was. Thankfully, it was well managed, and everything appeared to be in order within. Adjusting his glasses, he decided to approach a particular door, one that had a line behind it yesterday. Now, however, there wasn't a soul but the two guards beside it, already set in their place. However, as the owner of this store approached, a man exited through the door, in a hoodie, and a backpack looking rather heavy. Mr. Shadow raised a hand, giving a smile to the hand in a silent greeting. The man simply raised a thumbs up and walked past towards the recently unlocked front doors. Mr. Shadow nodded to the guards, before slipping through the door. The door lead to a short, dimply lit hallway, facing a stairway below. On the sides of the stairway were two more guards, though notably more heavily armed, each holding an assault rifle. They stood up straight as Mr. Shadow entered, however, he would simply say in a calm voice. "At ease."

Down below, amid the low lit marketplace below, various stalls with a mix of gritty and professional, With various Merchants displaying high tech gear and unusual substances. They had military grade hardware from unspecified sources, devices that looked straight out of a sci-fi film or comic book, and medicines and medical devices that had either been denied by the FDA, or were still undergoing testing and locked by patent. Many of the items here could save lives, or destroy them. And they were all for sell for the right person and the right price.

The store served as a nice cover for the supply and demand that went on below, receiving a reasonable percentage from all sales. Having had another rewarding day below, Mr. Shadow had emerged into the evening. The store above orderly and calm. Mr. Shadow, with a smile on his face, looked on ahead to the exit. With a friendly greeting to the remaining staff, he stepped through the automatic doors and into the night air, sighing happily. [Exit]

With the morning having come forth since a rather interesting evening prior, Mr. Shadow reviewed the data he had received in his office. He looked over them with interest, nodding softly, while reviewing the further data he had, "skimmed" from the devices of those residing within the Honeycomb, including Kazuya, but also others there. Attaching his phone to a large hard drive, he let the data download onto it. Finally finishing his data storage, he unhooked the drive, before hiding it and locking the drawer carefully. He stood up, slipping out from his office to get some fresh air, glancing over the store too the morning crowd, adjusting his jacket hood.
