Has your avi heard of movies from Moonbeam?
For those of you who don't know about the movie company, Moonbeam, it was a Sub-Division of the Horror Movie Company, Full Moon Pictures, founded by a B-Movie veteran of the name of Charles Band in 1993.
Moonbeam specializes in family orientated Science Fiction and Fantasy films. Their first movie was the Prehysteria Trilogy from 1993 to 1995.
During this 4 Year Period, Moonbeam produced other Family B-Movies such as Remote, Beanstalk, Dragonworld, Magic Island, Pet Shop (which appeared on TNT's MonsterVision as part of a Christmas Special), Josh Kirby: Time Warrior Chapters 1 to 6 (Planet of the Dino Knights, Human Pets, Trapped on Toy World, Eggs from 70 Million BC, Journey to the Magic Cavern & Last Battle for the Universe), Leapin’ Leprechauns, Spellbreaker: Secret of the Leprechauns (otherwise known as Leapin' Leprechauns 2), Magic in the Mirror & Magic in the Mirror 2: Fowl Play.
In early Moonbeam Movies from Prehysteria to Beanstalk, they showed a Behind the Scenes Feature called Moonbeam VideoZone.
Nowadays some of these can be seen on Full Moon's Streaming Service. However, no Complete Collection of Classic Moonbeam movies are available as of current. The 17 Moonbeam Movies were released on VHS from Paramount during the 1990s.
Moonbeam's Classic Era lasted from 1993 to 1997 while its Modern Era lasted from 1998 to 2000.
