 The sun pulled slowly across the sky, warming the land below. The Spring breeze keeping the air cool between the rays above and the ground below. Oshin sat in the sand, basking in the suns warmth, and enjoying the breeze.
He longed for company, and the pleasure of conversation. Not something he desired often, since that normally entailed common pleasantries. The desire for a deeper conversation, instead of simple greetings, ebbing at his mind. Oshin would not complain for any level of conversation though. He would enjoy whatever life tossed at him, and embrace it. That was part of his nature. Especially if he happened to greet his family. Although he was adopted, he never felt like he was. The loving bond with his mother and siblings, felt as natural as any other, maybe even stronger.
As he lay there, he mused over a haiku, thinking of different topics in which to compose with. Haiku's were easy, and he thought up one on the spot.
"Ocean tide calling
Singing the same soothing song
Forever my home"
He said out loud with a calm, soothing voice. He didn't think up another, pleased with his first draft of the Haiku. That one fit the moment perfectly. He sighed contentedly, and listened on to the oceans lullaby.

As the new day dawned, a once-tiny ball of fluff stretched his triple set of tails. His paws, now grown into those slender legs, he quickly moved. Ears perking, he studied his surroundings, leaving no stone uncalculated. Not altogether; ninja material didn't leave his sediments feeling unresolved. Instead, he used this knowledge to his most significant advantage. Sometimes, despite his grandmother's teachings, he felt more unrestricted and more abled in thinking than his sibling or niece. While they focused on the: Way of the Ninja", his heart didn't lie within the formula. Instead, this stallion wanted t experience life on his terms, letting things evolve before him. His well-shaped tiny hooves carried him out into the sunlight without leaving any form of departure.
Hair flowing in sync with the passing breeze, he took a deep breath, "Let's see what today holds, shall we"?
Today his travels carried him toward the beach—an inspiring setting, leaving things to chance when the time was right. At this particular moment, his ears picked up on a soft voice in the breeze. Taught to be alert, he sought out this voice, focusing if they may be friend or foe. His assumption of instinct was unresolved. Calmly, he approached the lone Quilin-Nymph curiously yet on guard if something was amiss. Leaving caution to the wind, he figured this other stallion was something his fate placed before him. His voice came across as thoughtful and intriguing, with resemblance to the ocean waves that purred in the furred stallion's ears. This particular outing was the closest he'd even been near that vast body of water.
Quite refreshing.
"That was quite soothing. Do you have any others?" the more miniature stallion spoke with intrigue for another well-crafted haiku. The mere query was a longing to hear such words with the rocking waves. Away from the usual craziness of Ninja training, he opted to spend the day here just listening to the same lullaby.
