These prompts are all random actions that ICly would happen to your character! If you role in this thread you must accept the action and inevitable consequence! To earn the XP Points, you are required to complete a RP based on the prompt in question!

The RP can be completed at any point in time, however, it must be finished before you submit it for XP points. You should also link proof of the roll when you redeem the points -- it is suggested you make note of the prompt and the roll in the first post of your RP for ease of access!

If RP is not your jam, you may also commission or design a piece of art based on the prompt. The prompt should, at minimum, show your character responding or reacting to the prompt! In some cases, you may need to create multiple pieces of art to redeem the points though extra RP points. The art should show your character in full (so not just a headshot) and should at least be fully polished and finished for full XP points.

This means it should have cleaned lineart (or at least not be scribbled, if the artist paints); full colors; shadow; highlights; and a background. Most importantly, it should showcase a response to the prompt!

How Often Can I Roll for XP? You may roll once per month per character! The month will reset 12:01am PT. So if your rolled at 11:59pm PT on December 31st, you could roll again a few minutes later!

Is there a time limit to complete the RPs? We would prefer if you completed the RPs soon as you can, but so long as there is proof of the stat being rolled, you can complete it and redeem the stats any time.

What if the prompt doesn't work for my character or race? You do not have to follow the prompt exclusively. You are allowed to tweak the setting so long as the base prompt remains the same. i.e. if you get a speed stat for a naga, they will simply have to slither as fast as they can, as opposed to run; or if it's for a mermaid, you'll likely have it take place under water as opposed to some field. So long as the theme is based around the stat, that's mostly what we care about!

What happens if the RP takes on a life of its own? We get these prompts can sometimes take unexpected directions. So long as the theme is clear, it probably will be okay! We ask you try to keep it relevant throughout the RP i.e. they started practicing magic but then get distracted by conversation, but you wrap it with them returning to magic studies is okay! We might question if the RP only had one post revolving around magic, and the rest was a trip elsewhere or just the two characters flirting. :3

Randomize 1 through 100!

Whatever number you get is your prompt! To redeem the XP points, you must start and finish an RP based off the theme of the prompt! Once completed, you can turn it in, along with proof of your roll, and get your XP points.

If RP isn't your thing, you can commission or create a piece of art based on the prompt. It should be full color, with shading and highlighting, as well as a background. It also should be based on the prompt, and your character's response to it.

Once completed, you can turn it in, along with proof of your roll, and get your XP points.

If you roll the same prompt multiple times, you'll still need to create the RP or Art again! New stories and new outcomes can make for a different encounter! You also may adjust the prompt so it fits your character -- perhaps instead of snapping a tree branch, your mermaid or leviathan rips driftwood in two instead. There is some room for adjustment provided the end result showcases their growth!

Any character may use this grid, from Familiar through God.

The Grid

  1. A young one wants to test you in a feat of strength! They ask you to snap a large twig in half, followed by a medium sized stick, and ending with a large fallen tree branch. Do you accomplish such a feat of strength, or are you bested? Regardless, practice makes perfect! Strength XP +1

  2. The wind blows and there's nothing but empty plains stretching out before you like an endless sea of grass. With joy, you take off like a shot, running as fast as your feet can carry you! Speed XP +1

  3. You've been exploring some and have come across difficult terrain! It's going to take some work, but you're certainly up to the challenge. Even if you need to take a break now and again, it's not like anyone's going to see, right? Stamina XP +1

  4. Whoops! There's a river that looks a bit swift you need to cross, and no bridge. Thankfully, some sturdy stones make a natural path across; unfortunately, they're not very large, and you'll need to hope from one to the other without slipping or falling in! Agility XP +1

  5. Time to use your brains! That's right! There's an issue and you need to come up with a solution. This can be any sort of problem, but brawn won't get you out of the jam--you need to think! Just don't hurt yourself trying too, hard, all right? Intellect XP +1

  6. Hmm, something isn't sitting quite right... Maybe that last meal you had was a little... off? Luckily, you've got an herbal remedy to help take care of that. Whether it helps you stop feeling ill is another story. Constitution XP +1

  7. The air here has a presence to it that you aren't familiar with. There's just something to it that makes your hai
r stand up. Is it good? Is it bad? It's hard to say, but you can't help but feel like something's out there. Spirit XP +1

  8. Willpower XP +1

  9. You encountered a being who has some sort of magical ability. What sort of magic was it? What did you feel when you saw it? Are you interested in magic or is it something you want to steer clear of? Perhaps this encounter plants a seed of interest... or makes you leery of those with supernatural powers. Magic XP +1

  69. It was a beautiful day and the night promises to be even more so. You hear the ring of laughter echoing nearby, and find your hooves following it. After a time, you find yourself in the center of a fairy ring. Enchanting music swells all around you, and attractive yet mysterious figures beckon. You spend the night dancing and cavorting with a gathering of faeries. Sometime during the early hours of the morning you wake up, rejuvenated and with the sound of music still fresh upon the air. Was it a dream or did the faeries invite you to their revels and then set you free?

  92. You find yourself in the midst of a deep and dark forest. Walking slowly through the trees, you come upon a clearing. A single shaft of light illuminates a white stag. He turns to gaze at you and you notice that he possesses an impressively large rack of antlers. For a moment, you may be tempted to give chase, but he swiftly turns and disappears into the underbrush. You get the sense that you cannot follow. You are now back where you were before the forest. An overwhelming sense of awe overtakes you temporarily.

  93. Spirit +1 XP and Stamina +2 XP
  94. Willpower +1 XP and Weaponry +2 XP
  95. Luck +1 XP and Armory +2 XP

  96. It takes quick thinking indeed to escape a siren... as well as a swift set of legs. You manage to recall an old legend, and have stuffed your ears full of cotton or wax. The siren continues to sing her treacherous song, but armed with the makeshift earplugs you are safe. Your pounding hooves ensure that that safety is not short lived, as you gallop away as fast as you can.
Speed +1 XP and Intellect +2 XP

  97. Who ever heard of anyone joining a drinking contest with giants? And yet here you are, for reasons of your own, imbibing a delicious mead with several of them. While you can't quite keep up, they are nevertheless impressed with your efforts, and send you off with a quite large drinking horn. It's so heavy you stagger as you attempt to carry it away, but suddenly it feels just a little lighter. The farther you move away from the giants, the lighter it seems to get.
Constitution +1 XP and Strength +2 XP

  98. The ground beneath your hooves gives way and you tumble and slide down a steep ravine. Out of pure desperation, you latch on to a vine that seems ready to snap at any moment. With a strike of inspiration from your foalhood, you wind the vine together with another, and then another, creating a strong rope that, as if by magic, carries you back up to stable ground.
Magic +1 XP and Creativity +2 XP

  99. While exploring a beach with powdery sand, you discover a hidden lagoon. Within the lagoon are three lovely mermaids or mermen who invite you to join their trio. Whether enchanted by their beauty or simply curious, you do just that. You while away the hours in a conversation that feels more like a dance, and although you find yourself tempted to stay with them ever longer, the hour is growing late and your home awaits. Regretfully, they release you, with the promise of a good time if you should desire it... the next time you meet.
