What's Your Favorite Takeout/Takeaway Place and why? Evergreen. It is a local chinese restaurant and their dishes are phenomenal.
What's Your Favorite fruit and why? For me in the summer nothing beats fresh Strawberries, just rinse with water and eat! My favorite fruit though is a Pumpkin. Yeah I know that is a vegetable but nope its a fruit it has seeds and I love anything Pumpkin flavored or scented.
Anything Else? These are gorgeous, hard time making a pref list. Thank you for the chance!

Personality: Growing up he was resentful and a trickster. Everyone else had a better life than he, in his mind, and he lashed out as a result. Add in a stubborn streak that caused him to dig in his hooves and refuse to budge, and Ragnvaldr was a difficult colt. He spent much of his life angry at the world and taking that anger out on those around him. Now that his life is in a better place, he can still be sullen at times but his envy has dwindled. This allows the better parts of his personality to get a chance to shine.

Ragnvaldr is kindhearted and affectionate when he feels safe. It is a new side of himself that he is discovering as most of his life he hasn’t felt safe. He wants to be a better centaur and will give of himself too much at times to make up for his past wrongdoings. He doesn’t believe himself worthy of love or forgiveness down deep and is shy and cautious as a result. Ragnvaldr is aware that in the past he was not a good centaur and is constantly afraid that those parts of him are all there is. That he will revert and hurt those he is beginning to care about.

History: Ragnvaldr’s parents had aspirations for him that he found chafing and restrictive growing up. Ragnvaldr would act out against the aspiration, ones that he would be a wise and powerful leader, as often as he could. He would play tricks on other taurs and generally be as much of a brat as he could be. He was so resentful of others freedoms it had become a part of who he is.

Probably too early, he set off on his own to get away from his parents and fell in with a bad crowd. The tricks that this group pulled had a malicious edge to them that didn’t sit well with Ragnvaldr. These taurs were his family now though and it was hard to speak out against the group. It was dangerous to speak out in fact. Slowly though, he started to realize the mistake he had made to join with them.

Ragnvaldr was with them for several years before he saw an opportunity to leave. It meant starting over completely, but he had done that once. He could do it again. If he left just on his own, he was afraid the group would retaliate. There was a blacksmith that the rest of the group feared. Ragnvaldr had helped the blacksmith’s husband out of a sticky spot without knowing who he was. This started a friendship to slowly grow between the three of them. Finally, one evening when Ragnvaldr had snuck away, the blacksmith asked why he didn’t leave. Ragnvaldr broke down from the stress and anxiety, telling the whole sorry tale. The blacksmith agreed to mentor and protect him in return for help in the smithy.

The group tried to retaliate. But Ragnvaldr and the blacksmith refused to back down. There was some damaged property and a couple of bruises, but as Ragnvaldr gained muscle working with the blacksmith, the group became more leery of the pair.

Now, Ragnvaldr works as an apprentice blacksmith and is beginning to find a purpose to life that had been missing for so long. He has two surrogate parents who adore him and support him. Life isn’t complete sunshine and roses, every once in awhile the group comes around, but they three of them muddle through.

Prompt: The leaves are slowly beginning to turn, and there's a chill in the air -- how does your centaur plan on preparing for the upcoming fall and winter? Are they preparing for the harvest? Are they just enjoying the last lazy days of summer and whiling away their time? What have they gotten up to and what are their hopes for the future? Ragnvaldr is going to help with the harvest in exchange for being able to take some home to stock up for the winter. He is preparing the larder to house staples until the winter passes. He hopes that this winter he will be warm and well fed. His needs are simple. He is just thankful that he is finally in a place he can be happy.

Anything Else? I did not name the blacksmith in case I could convince someone to play that character in the future.
