Loathing muscles burned. He could feel each deep rattling breath, tear through his lungs. Each large breath, fueling him forward with unfathomable speeds. He broke through the darkness, in a blue streak as he tore after his prey. The small creature screamed in fear as they too forced themself through the night. Loathing body was a dark shadow of his prey. Each, quick movement, he mimicked.
"Please!" his prey screamed. "someone... Someone help me!"
Loathing dark chortle was the only response, as he began to close the distance between him and his prey.
Suddenly, with a hard right, him and his prey were on a road. Loathing melted as he zig zagged between the shadows of the surrounding trees.
"I will consume you!" Loathing bellowed. His prey, terrified shrieked as they spun around to try and find what was chasing them. They stumbled and crashed backwards into the very tree Emeryn was located.
Loathing roaring tapered off as he stopped, just off from the tree, still encompassed by the shadows. He spotted Emeryn and paused, waiting. Watching her carefully. But also keeping his eye on the trembling mortal he had plans on consuming. Who were they....? Why were they...?
His pale blue eyes broke the darkness as they glowed softly. Unwavering, watching.
