I think it's amazing. Erika found it interesting that Zap sounded so relaxed. An entirely different person, he sounded like, but one that... simply didn't have the woes of his life on his shoulders. Much like she felt right then, an entirely different person. Floaty and relaxed. Like she didn't have to worry about... just about anything.

Had she ever felt like this before? The answer was simply no. Her eyes opened at Zap's laughter. She looked up at him, realizing that for the moment everything seemed better. The drugs would wear off at another point and then Erika was sure they'd be able to figure out next steps together.

Together. That did sound nice right then. It wasn't like she had to go her own way after all this was done, right? That sounded... right. At least for the time being. That was a future Erika problem.

For the time being, Erika reached up to gently touch the side of Zap's face before leaning in to kiss him. Completely running on instinct, low key hoping she wasn't about to have her throat ripped out because of it. Would have really screwed up the vibe.

For a second, Erika was pretty sure she had stepped over a line or three. He lifted his hands before responding and she could feel her death looming in the future. At least until he returned the kiss and those hands instead found the sides of her face. A second kiss followed by a third.

Did Erika feel something for Zap beyond what was being created with the drugs? She would be lying to herself if she said no. Someone who lived his life while being so unafraid of the consequences? She wished she could live like that. The blonde admired him, which wasn't a far jump from other sorts of affections.

Erika returned every kiss, wondering if this was one of those moments mortals talked about with beating hearts. She certainly felt caught up in the sensations despite the fact she had kissed others before. Perhaps it had been too long. Still she pulled back after a moment in an attempt to collect her thoughts, not quite pulling fully away from Zap to rest the back of her head on the bolder they were leaned against. The odd whale was still doing circles above their head and Erika chuckled slightly.

"You're pretty good at that." Her eyes closed and she lifted a hand to run through her hair, trying to figure out if she wanted more or not. What was going on with her?

If he hadn't much practice, that was perfectly fine. Erica had... had a decent amount of practice herself. Even with one of the bigger names in the vampire realm, but... she had been another notch on a belt or just a night of fun, whatever it had been. No one had ever stuck around very long for her to figure out if there might have been something more.

Not that she had been around Zap for very long either. Perhaps this was just a passing fancy too. Just like the whale that was floating above them. But she felt like there was an element of all of this that was going to stick with her for awhile. Perhaps even after the drugs wore off.

"It was very nice." She laughed again, but her laughter trailed off as her thoughts swirled in a different direction. Hadn't had much practice or had no practice? She couldn't help but think that was what he meant and the blonde looked up at him with eyes full of disbelief. ".... You don't mean no practice right? You're not uh.... not completely inexperienced.... are you, Zap?" Had she somehow found a virgin in the wild?

Normally Erica was careful with her words. Picking them with care in order not to piss anyone off. A great way to survive. But her normal reservations had flown out the window with the drugs and his kiss had led her mind to think about other things. Certain sorts of things without any clothing on, but his words had seemed so innocent compared to everything else that had happened that... Erica had been a little turned around in her thoughts.

No one wants to kiss a monster which is fine by me. He got up and left her alone. Erica didn't like that at all. She liked his reaction to her question even less. Slowly the blonde got to her feet, leaning against the boulder for support as she did. "Excuse me, did we not just kiss now? I'm pretty sure my name is Erica, not no one." How incredibly rude of him to just write off what... why was she defending that? Why was she saying anything at all? Her cheeks were naturally pink from birth, but if she had blood pumping she likely would have lit up brightly.

"I was asking because it was on my mind." The words were growled and then she sighed again. The drugs were still in her system and Erica... just didn't understand anything anymore. She slid back down to sit against the boulder, scowling as she did so.

She wasn't playing her cards so close to her chest this time around, was she? Damn it, Zap! He had taken her question incredibly wrong and now Erica was just going to scowl by herself until the drugs wore off.
