Vicious hadn't ever been this deep in the woods before, nor had she ever strayed this far from her brother. It was an eerie place, too quiet, too large. No crickets chirped, no birds sang, it was only the soft, melancholy whisper of the wind and the sound of her own heartbeat pounding in her ears. Usually she wasn't afraid. In fact she'd never really felt much in the way of fear, not even hunting late at night all alone. The shadows kept her well concealed, her minions alerting her to any eyes watching that she failed to notice herself.
The baddie crept through the shadows, hunting. She'd spotted a curious looking deer and had been so focused on it she hadn't realized how deep she'd gone until she looked up and didn't recognize her surroundings. Nothing smelled familiar either. Her luminous eyes practically glowed in the darkness, the cat-like slits shifting from side to side carefully as she took in the territory. At this rate she wouldn't make it back before darkness had fully devoured the woods. Well, s**t. That wasn't good.
