We welcome furry art as well as off-topic art (as long as it doesn't get too off topic.)
1. Art Theft- Any plagiarized (i.e. directly traced, copied) work or art that is not created by you will not be accepted. This goes for stories, poems, and maybe even photos.
2. Regarding adult content -- PG-13. only. This means that erotica and adult images are not permitted. However, we do allow some leeway for tasteful nudity and life drawings. This applies to adult stories and photos as well. If you want to show that stuff, show it on the off-site forums or censor it. Not everyone in the guild is of an adult age.
3. Flaming-
For the people posting art, be aware that everyone is entitled to their honest opinion about what you're showing them. They may not have completely positive or encouraging things to say. So be prepared for varying opinions. For the people posting comments, please be polite and constructive in your critiques.
In other words DO NOT FLAME. If you do, will you be warned and if you are warned several times you will be banned from the guild.
4. Please follow the rules of the artist's thread if they have made rules or guidelines which you need to follow in order to get art from them. Do not beg or harass the artist for art. They have all rights to refuse to take an order.
5. Respect that people are not online 24/7. And may take a day or more to reply.
6. Respect the artist's time. Artists do art at their own pace. Artists also have outside lives and aren't there to always draw art for others. Some may even have jobs or school which take up most of their time and may only work on the pieces on their freetime. If they have a list of people waiting it could be awhile before they get to you. So please, show some patience and respect for their time, since they are taking the time to draw for you. Art, can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to even a few months. So don't harrass them if they don't get your art right away and be understanding if something comes up that prevents them from drawing. We are not robots. And gold doesn't pay our bills.
7. Art Sales- This has come up recently about selling/commissioning art for money. Since it is against Gaia's ToS you cannot directly make a sale post asking for money. However, you may mention a link in your post to an off-site website where you are selling your art only if you are selling art for gold or items as well.

Art can only be sold on Gaia for Gaia Gold and items.
Selling art for real cash on Gaia is not permitted. You may link in your thread to a web page that has your cash commission options but you may not advertise it or directly take commissions for cash on Gaia.
