CREATING/DOWNLOADING CC

I havent seen ANY topics about this so im gonna post it up here so with that if you have any questions about downloading or creating custom content ask here and youll be sure to get an ansewr (not allways from me tho lol)
I have a few questions
How do you download sims off websites other then thesims2.com
how do you create clothes for the body shop?????

1. Body Shop:

You pick the mesh you want (what you want the shape of the clothes/hair/etc to have). You only recolor in body shop. You export it, and go to My Documents: EA Games: The Sims 2: Projects: [project name]

And you edit it with a paint program.


And other sites are all different. Modthesims2.com, you get an account, and click on the download you want. You go to My Documents: EA Games: The Sims 2: Downloads. Find the file, and either unzip it, or extract it with WinRAR (which you can download for free, google it)

go to your documents
extract it
move it somewhere else

You click on "download here" on any site , save the file , extract the files to EA GAMES >Sims2>downloads , double click EA games then sims2...etc

Done.

Its easy if you just put it in your downloads folder and extract it.

No moving at ALL.

I just want one thing. Blue hair.
Not a hairstyle, the color. Like Blonde or brown or black.

I was told I'd be able to find it at Modthesims2.com but it was like finding a needle in a stinking haystack.

I tried getting the Body Shop but that was too intimidating.

Can someone help me please?

it shouldn't be too complicated just take a pad of paper and a pencil and write down the file name and use your un-zipping (or un-raring) program to extract your files to blah... my documents/ea games/sims 2/downloads (create one if you don't have a downloads folder)

I far prefer photoshop over paint... It's a lot easier to change things that way, without losing detail or whatever.

I'd prefer GIMP, but personally, I suck a** on it rolleyes
