Gaara isn't as much in the way you've described...
But still. He isn't really friends with anyone until Naruto, "cures" him.
I never really pay attention to Gaara, that's why. But he finally became friends with SOME people when Naruto 'cures' him, as you said. =D

The coolest fight was between Neji and Naruto. I just love the way how Neji spins in the air and goes Chuck Norres on Naruto! xd ok, so was so much cooler that CN, but either way, it was awsome!
