Im sad to say I got into Fall Out Boy from Sugar we're going down... I was listening to the radio when it came on for like the first time. And I was like "holy s**t, who the hell was that?' the radio dude said Fall Out Boy, so i looked them up on the good old internet.
And then i was like 'THESE GUYS ARE THE s**t'.
And that, Doctor, is when the obsession began... domokun

I first heard of 'Fall Out Boy' when they had 'Sugar we're Going Down' on the radio. I thought, 'Hey these guys are okay.' So I looked them up on the internet and found thier music videos 'Saturday,' and 'Dead On Arrival'. And completely fell in love with the album 'Take This To Your Grave'. So what if I heard of them off of MTV and can't reciet anything of the band members? I don't care about the band members I care about the music. I know that alot of people would disagree with that and say,"Well, the members are the music..." I mostly still want to know about the music; don't get me wrong it's cool to know where they got the idea of the song from. And I don't go around saying ,"I'm their #1 fan." I just don't agree with the fact that you guys think that makes me any less of a fan since I heard of them of off MTV than you guys... It hurts. neutral

Quixotic Faye So it's not what you don't like about Fall Out Boy, it's what you don't like about Fall Out Boy's fans? confused I was there after Fall Out Boy hit MTV, does that make me less of a fan?
The first time I saw them and heard them was on MTV. And that was about a year ago, last summer, I saw "Sugar, we're goin' down". Then a couple weeks after that I got FUCT.

i hate that Pete is always dissing himself on the q&a board on their site, he's not my favorite but that doesn't mean he isn't awesome.
i hate that Patrick is always refered to as "the fat one" by the kids at my school, he's not fat he's cuddly.
i hate that in the music video for Grand Theft Autumn, Patrick's body language says i'm into this, but his eyes are totally emotionless.
i hate that FOB is always being compared to P!ATD even though they sound completely different.

the-murder-scene i hate that Patrick is always refered to as "the fat one" by the kids at my school, he's not fat he's cuddly. That is THE most perfect way I've EVER heard anyone describe him!!!! What I hate about FoB nowadays is A) SOOO much frikin' merch. It kind of blows my mind that they got to the level where they have merch at Target and Claire's. It's like SpongeBob: okay, we got it, thanks. B) their old CDs are SO hard to find. I tried finding Girlfriend for my cousin's birthday, but all I could find was the re-issue of Cork Tree. I had to burn her a copy and I hate doing that. C) I also hate the lack of attention the other band members get. I understand that Patrick hates the limelight, okay, but what about Joe n andy? D) I hate how Patrick is so pretty but I can't have him. crying

Zacky Gates Ok! I don't Hate Fall Out Boy, I LOVE FALL OUT BOY! The Only I don't like about Em is all These Preppy Fat Chicks Runnin around Thinkin they're Hott N sayin "I LOVE FALL OUT BOY!!" jus Cuz they Heard "Sugar We're Goin Down" I Love Fall Out Boy. Mostly Cuz I Live in Chicago n they were one of the 1st Bands I got into. Half the People who say they "LOVE FALL OUT BOY" Haven't Even Heard of "Evening Out With Your Girlfriend" Most of Em Never Went To a Local Show BEFORE they were Big! they Only Know about Em Cuz Of MTV. It Sucks For Us Fans Who were there BEFORE they hit it Big.

true... i heard them from MTV... but when i like somthin, i look into it (i'm a nerd)... i looked at there old songs and know alot about them! i just don't like that all my friends that only know sugar were going down and dance dance think that they like them more than anyone else!

Pfft. As long as we like them for our own reasons, then anyone else can like them whether it's because they think Pete is hot, because everyone in their year likes them or because they might actually think Fall Out Boy is music. Good music. Fall Out Boy makes money off these people. They are famous because of these people. Yes, these people aren't the only people that make Fall Out Boy famous but it's something.
