for the second question that i forgot to answer, remember, harry went to school (the rancid smelling outfit aunt petunia was dying grey and him being stuck on the roof). for the other people, im not sure. maybe math isnt important. but they do have arithmancy, which is math i think, and remember career advice in the 5th book. gringotts wanted arothmancy, so im guessing any other job that has anything to do with math, people have to have an OWL or NEWT in arithmancy. any other job may not require math skills, since they are magic.

I've got a couple questions for my fellow Harry Potter fans.
Why wasn't Harry always able to see the kestrals? He saw his mother die when he was a baby, didn't he?
Where do young wizards and witches go to school before they're eleven? They had to learn how to read and write, etc. somewhere.
So what do you think?
1st qustion Harry probably din't remember seeing the death OR... he had his head turned when it happened she never said she was looking at his mother
2nd quistion I think th wizard mothers just home school them it makes sence
