Gabriel Valessar A lot of people there are extremely elitist. One of the most commonly-debated topics is whether or not Cradle of Filth are black metal or "extreme gothic metal." Personally I don't think it makes that much of a difference. I love them either way. heart

I love them either way. heart Finntroll ist krieg. |m| Me too, just about half the metal forum had a massive argument with someone who posted my profile up saying "OMG U LISTEN TO HIM AND MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE AND U THINK UR METAL LAWLLL" Just 'cause people listen to non-metal as well as metal, like me, doesn't make them any less knowledgeable or "tr00" than someone who only listens to metal o.O The kind of people saying things like "U listen 2 HIM which means u aint rly metal" are the kind of people who think Avenged Sevenfold are "well metuhl! |m|". Peasants.

Actually, I happen to like Avanged Sevenfold. I'm not sure if they're metal or not, but they're definately loud. I like other stuff, too. Like Jefferson Airplane, America, Phil Collins, the Eurthymics, The Police, Mommas and the Papas... oldies, basically.
I like er.. "alternative rock", too. I like Tool, A Perfect Circle, Metalica, The Smashing Pumpkins.. list is long. I don't like HIM very much, but I liked that song, "Rip the Wings Off a Butterfly."
Techno and Trance is nice, too. I absolutely adore Enigma, Aurora, Cold Storage, Konami.. just.. a lot.
I like.. music. Basically.

I love "old" music much more than I do modern music...Queen, The Police, Blondie, Boston, Thin Lizzy, Elton John, the list goes on.
I also have something of a soft spot for 80's shizz...Strawberry Switchblade, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Adam Ant...and there's some pereniall favourites like the exceptional Mr. Bowie ^^ heart
I like music from almost every genre, except rap, hip-hop, r'n'b, etc...though I am very partial to Eminem.

Oh, I like the 80's, too. Except, I like a lot of Russian bands that you've heard of, probably. sweatdrop
