Historical Hat Help

I am attempting to make a Renaissance Dress, but to make it historical, it needs a hat. Does anyone have any patterns, stores, or anything that could help? I have been looking for a long time and cant find anything decent or that could help.

Just for kicks, its a French Upper Class dress, medium blue and white with hints of red/scarlet. Its a very layered dress, i may post it up here sometime when its all completed. sweatdrop

Have you tried the local library? They might have something that could give you a push the right way. Also, if you have any contacts with the SCA, check with them, they might know someone that can help.
