my mom's family cabin in Ontario is beautiful and remote.

you get there by water, there is no power.

everything runs on propane, or wood.

there are huge rocky cliffs, pine birch aspen and hemlock, bears, moose, eadles and trout.

and lots of water, and you, and that's about it.

we never go on vacation... we used to sometimes, but not in the past few years... ;_; my mom usually says we will, but we never do... ._.' one time she said we were gonna go to Six Flags, but we never got to. D: I was rly upset about that. every summer, I'm always stuck at home. I rarely do anything. I usually visit both of my grandmas, but never do anything with my mom and brothers. one time, quite a while ago we went to Adventureland... me, my mom, both of my brothers, and one of my older brother's friends. :3 it was fun~ X) but since then, I dun think we've done anything else like that. ;_;

Yeah, sometimes it's hard to get away. But at least you get to see your grandmothers biggrin .

My favourite memory from my last holiday, was seeing a sign for a carwash which proclaimed to give 'the best hand job in town'. My family holidays are extremely boring. I also went to a pencil museum, the excitement never ends!
