why dose my sims 2 crash all the time?

ive just installed the sims2 open for business and the sims 2 university and my pc just keeps crashing on me when i go on it. can some one plz tell me why so i can try 2 sort it out

Its the Sims, it might be because of custom content, it might be because your computer can't hack it, it may be a faulty disk, it might just be that it dosen't like you. Or mebbe it just dosen't feel like running today. <_< Alas, I've had all the above problems, the only way I found to solve them was to uninstall completly and start again. Annoying, but true.
