Sims 2 parties question

I’m getting ready to upgrade my computer and was wondering what hardware component let’s you invite more people when your sims have parties.

Use the phone and call over some friends.

At the moment I can only have ‘house parties’ with 2 guests, and I know there is something you can do to allow more guests.

There's a cheat that allows you to invite 8 people to parties instead of 2.


Here's the cheat:

intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims 8

I think the amount of sims you can invite to a party depends on your influence/how many sims you befriend.

And the specs of your computer. If its really fast it will let you do 8, if it only says 2 its telling you it will run quite well with two...but will fight with more.
