(Note: the first poem has a touch of Gaelic in it. Muirn beatha dan is a term of endearment used something like our term of soul mate. Also, it's supposed to have accents but I don't know how to add them. xp )
Fated Ghosts
Only the ghosts of her life and light remain
Now she's alone, frightened, barely sane.
He was the one. So long he was near,
She was the strong, the powerful, without fear.
Tragic fate they could bare if held tight
Now fearsome warrior grows weary of her fight.
Within their dark forest they would meet her dreams
Only to awaken with the echoes of screams.
Blood clouds all within her sight,
Yet he is there in perfect moonlight.
Always there, whether or not he can,
Never leaving the heart of his muirn beatha dan.
All Not Lost
White Forest of the icy frost
River Sorrow of unshed tears
Still Moon of a frozen past
Silver Wolf of howling pain
Infant cries for the fallen mother
Child yearns for the forgotten father
A hand held to light the dark
An embrace caught in time
Promises lay broken at her feet
Worlds to crumble by her hand
Soothing whispers of all not lost
Loving arms so far to save
White Forest of the icy frost
River Sorrow of unshed tears
Still Moon of a frozen past
Silver Wolf of howling pain
Infant cries for the fallen mother
Child yearns for the forgotten father
A hand held to light the dark
An embrace caught in time
Promises lay broken at her feet
Worlds to crumble by her hand
Soothing whispers of all not lost
Loving arms so far to save
Heart's Broken Tears
Blood soaks and stains her paper wings
A soul long lost in tortured screams
A steel cool knife that stole her breath
Her gleaming light now dimmed towards death
He held her close and loved her dear
Yet his begging pleads she could not hear
But as she closed her eyes to sleep
She felt his heart break down to weep
Blood soaks and stains her paper wings
A soul long lost in tortured screams
A steel cool knife that stole her breath
Her gleaming light now dimmed towards death
He held her close and loved her dear
Yet his begging pleads she could not hear
But as she closed her eyes to sleep
She felt his heart break down to weep
