trent did the original doom midi while he worked for TVT back in the early 90s. He didnt get paid by Id though....but they used his score for the rest of the midi's found on the original shareware version and on the expansion packets for the first doom, you know:
knee deep in the dead
the shores of hell
&
Inferno

It was Quake.
