I think I read it in part of the Sabbat explaination of Samhain... I need to check that though sweatdrop that was all off the top of my head from what I can remember so I dare say it needs checking.

It's to do with the Goddess being the "source of all" and the God returning to the Goddess in order to be reborn at Yule.
