Which do you do- play the defaut towns, or make your own?

I always use the 3 default towns usually Pleasantview or Sttrangetown! Veronaville seems to run slower!

For Sims 3 I never make my own town and I'm not planning on doing that any time soon.

For Sims 2 I like to make my own town but I also like a few of the families from Pleasantview.

On the Sims 2 I made a few custom towns, but with the Sims 3, making towns in that is different and haven't tried it yet.

I only have sims 3 and the towns I have are plaesentview and riverview because I am broke and can't afford to buy any expansion packs.

I would download my cousin's expansion packs (we both have the base game) but I'm pretty sure that's illegal...

Oh and the other town I have is some island some person put up on the exchange...and of course everything is in a foreign language.

But I honestly do prefer Riverview.

In TS2 I spent most of my time playing between Pleasantview, Strangetown and a custom world, Crystal Springs, that I built myself.

In TS3, because of the way save games are handled per world and not per lot, I tend to switch a lot between the default worlds with one active family in each.
I have downloaded a custom world that I've only played once so I'm going to uninstall it. I've also spent the past THREE YEARS working on my own custom world on-and-off. It's still not finished.

.! I think it all really depends on my mood
I use the preloaded towns when I feel like going on a destructive mode and ruining the lives of some sims
And I use my own when I feel a little less destructive !.
