jambare Crazy Anime Lover jambare Yeah I thought the same thing.....so maybe he was being sarcastic... and where did the apple come from at the end when he "died" after Jack shot him? It wasn't in his hand at all...... o_0 ... Good POINT eek !!! ... Uh ... maybe he just always has one in his coat blaugh ! s... You REALLY have a EYE for these things DONT 'ya mate question

I think it was definitely sarcasm, but before anyone said that I was thinking that he can still feel things, but doesn't get any enjoyment out of it--like when he said food would turn to ash in their mouths and no amount of drink would quench their thirst.

Smelly Pirate Hooker I think it was definitely sarcasm, but before anyone said that I was thinking that he can still feel things, but doesn't get any enjoyment out of it--like when he said food would turn to ash in their mouths and no amount of drink would quench their thirst. But he also said. "I feel nothing, not the spray of the sea or the warmth of a woman's flesh"

ya, i kinda didn't think of that at the time. I was to busy feeling a sixth sense of awkwardness come over me as an old man goes threw a young womens clothes.
I guess though since you say it it is kinda weird

Also it was probably mostly sarcasm, like the others said.

When Barbossa came into the cave, you can see he had the apple with him. And earlier, he had said that the first thing he would do once he was human was eat a whole bushel of apples... Maybe he really meant it, and was gonna eat the apple.
And yes, he was just being a jerk about the dress, he couldn't feel it.
While we're on Barbossa, how did he manage to come back in 2? I thought he was shot and killed?
