General: Some children want only to grow up, to be independent and free. Some children believe that adults have no more of these liberties than children and that beyond this, adults are selfish, disgusting, pathetic creatures who should be destroyed and never want to grow up. Among the Mayfairs, these particular twisted children have formed their own cult of demented games and horrid fairytales. Once targeted, a person will certainly find themself whisked away to their little world of dementia, trying in vain to find a way out and forced to abide by the aristocrats' rules or die.
Specifics: In the Mayfair family, there are several traits held in high regard: beauty, power, charisma, and intelligence. Among the younger mainstream Mayfairs carrying these traits, a pact was made and a twisted society was formed. These Mayfair children are known vaguely to the rest of the family as the Red Crayon Aristocrats. Living by the Rule of Rose (a cast system based on the key Mayfair traits) and under the Princess (a figure held in shadows who controls every important movement the Aristocrats make) and Prince (who vanished long ago) of the Red Rose, they're a shady group with sick ideals and a twisted view on reality who are quick to punish the unfaithful. But the Aristocrats all share one extraordinary ability, despite conflicting personalities: the ability to lock away all cruelty and macabre intentions until they step into their torturous little world based half on grim fairytales and half on the darker side of reality, all starting with an old room hidden away behind a locked door in the attic of Mayfair Manor.
