am not a guy who likes the plot too much just the gameplay LOL

and i first foudn of of metroid is SSBM and then i played fusion changed my life =O

same here except instead of fusion i played metroid prime

i got into metroid sum time ago i only got into it when i played ssb on n64 then i played super metroid on snes

The fact that its a fun adventure game with some of the coolest upgrades in any game I've ever seen...the legend of zelda was cool, but who really wants a flute as an item...not me.

Flutes are cool. Especially magic flutes! ^^

I like the Chozo Lore the best...but they pretty much tell the story...so story it is!

I discovered Metroid after playing the first Super Smash Bros. when I was seven. I didn't play a Metroid game until Fusion came out, but I really wanted the older Metroid games, and now I have the original and Super Metroids as well.
The story pwns, the gameplay pwns, but most importantly, Samus pwns.

I love the plot, without that I don't think it's as meaningful.

Can you imagine what the game would be like without the story?

What would Samus be fighting for...?
Why would it even matter if the Chozo's died....?
All those Space Pirates and other enemies....what are there plans?
Ect. ect. the list goes on.

I also love the plot because you find out more information about what happen(s/ed) and what may come if the future.

-In each game it seems like it answers questions as well as leaving you with questions.

I love the story, that’s what made really in love with the game.

To tell you the truth, the first time I even became interested in Metroid was when...

I got a 'Samus trophie' in 'Super Smash Bros. Melee'. lol. sweatdrop

That told me alot about what her life was like...ect.

So I told myself that I was gonna buy a Metriod game and play it and see if I like it.

-And you know what? I love it! cool

Honestly, before I got Super Smash Bros. Melee, I had NO CLUE who Samus was and I thought she was a guy! Now my name is metroidmania and I have like every Metroid game ever made! ('cept for Super Metroid crying )

Anyways though, my favortie part about Metroid is having this weak little Samus at the beginning of the game, and then when you get to the end she's like practically invincible! I think finding power-ups (and seeing what they look like for the first time) are like the most awesome thing ever!

There's nothing not to love.It was hard choosing my favorite part.Either transforming Samus from a weak little excuse for a bount hunter (exaggeration, of course!) into as close to a god as anyone on Earth, Zebes, TallonIV, Aether, the Alimbic system, etc. etc., can get; the bosses and the other little guys; the storyline; the scenery; the variety of weapons; th multiplayer in MP 2; the graphics; or somthing else I failed to mention.

If I had to choose or else i would be murdered by the ing, I would still say I couldn't choose.
