	i had a Strength Rod and caught 1 striper and when i bought Distance i started to catch a lot more Stripers and when i had the strength rod i never missed a shot biggrin

	It's all about the right combo. I use reset F bait and a distance plus, and I get anywhere from 1-4 stripers a bucket.

	Any rod but the non-plus strength rod can catch one, and they like grade A and D bait, like rares. If you hook one, you'll know! You can get them mixed up with rares, however...

	Le Dragriff vgupta BlueberryJoy Cast as far as you can with whatever rod you have. You can catch stripers with the basic rod...just be sure you're casting out as far as possible. Stripers love A and D bait, but they'll occasionally bite at F bait, too. smile ive been fishing a lot in bassken but no striper ever bites my basic, strength and performance rod sad Strength rod can't be cast far enough for large fish, like stripers.. ninja uh i beg to differ, I have caught more than my share of stripers with a strgth rod, of course it is a plus one but it still catches em plenty good.
