I don't have one, although I've wanted one for a while. They're so cool. You know, one of those long ones that're really long and black. Yeah.

Hah, I love trenchcoats. Long coats in general, really. I have a wonderful leather trench, a standard trench (too big for me, but watch that stop me), an oriental silk longcoat, a bright red... rockstar longcoat, for lack of better phrasing, several 3/4 coats and 2 kimonos (worn open). I suppose I just like the feeling of having something swirl around me or really just go past my knees.
Not to mention they look awesome. twisted
Never had a probelm with looking like someone, though. Seems like a strange problem to me... Is her individuality so fragile that it's definied by a coat? o.O But hey... whatever suits her.

...I own a trenchcoat....it fits well over my clothing. At times, I wear my hoodie under it. Since both are black...they blend...so I get called "reaper" and on rare occations "vampire".

I particularly like my trenchcoat. I bought it from thisstore that my friend works at. Although I did end up sewing some extra pockets in it.

Dead_Ed I would like to get a trench coat... but unfortunately it's not such a great idea when you're living in Arizona gonk I've got a trench coat and live in Arizona...works for the winter months during the night when it gets cold enough...mine isn't one of the incredibly thick ones though, so that helps. It is basically an almost denim style black material. It keeps me just warm enough...if I were going anywhere very very cold, I would probably just wear my leather jacket though.
