I often confuse the two... could someone please enlighten me?

An industrial goth is someone who crosses over between the industrial and goth subcultures.

A cybergoth is someone who crosses over between the futurist (also known as the cyber-) subculture.

That's the simplest way of putting it.

In terms of being all under the gothic subculture, yeah. It's just different terms to describe slightly different tastes within the subculture - or to put it negatively, labels for a label sweatdrop

Cybergoth tends to have a smoother more refined sound, whereas industrial goth tends to sound more raw and abrasive.

Cyber goths love the techno-industrial scene, glowsticking, robots, plastic, PVC, future and the industrial is more about the machine... Industrial-metal... I think. I guess I'm a cross between the two?

ill give you a hint:

ooozntt, ooonztt, oootz ootz ootz ootz *here comes the solo*
bleep doo dee boo boo dee doo bleep

honestly techno is lighter lisoning such like moby that have one line or phrase said over and over
where as industrial is heavy rock inspired with plently of memorizable one liners that get shouted over and over such as kmfdm's hau ruck or Skinny puppy's.....anything
