I doubt it. Maybe it would just speed up loading times. But since you have so little in your folder as it is I doubt you have a slow loading time anyway.
Did you check for piggyback files in your Saved Sims folder?

Yeh, it already loads quickly so it's ok.
The SavedSims folder is empty.
