Gaia Quest

So the quest system has finaly been released onto gaia. Im deffinatly excited to see what is going to comitiee of our new quest feature. The possibilities are endless it could go in so many different directions.

Im realy hopping the admins make some great quest in the future as he first one was rather disappointing as you go through that stuff when you sign up for gaia now days.

Im hopping down the line the quest will get more complex, and we will recieve some great *new* items for completing them.

I know Ive been looking forward to those for a LONG LONG time, however they were also rumored to be the top casino item too a long time ago.

Yeah, I cannot wait for them to make a quest for the backwings. The only thing that I am worried about is the amount of time to get the item once the backwings quest is available so I can get the item... whee

Yus, but 'rumors' are different from 'straight from the admin's mouth.'

Thats true, but the rumors came up after a convention saying that the admins said they would be their. :3

I don't see why every user had to do the "new user" quest.
And how now they're complaining about lagging the system.

I see it as an interesting way to boost activity on Gaia. I imagine there will be certain goals such as meeting a certain number of posts in order to complete a section of whatever quest is in play. During those times, people will be posting like mad, trying to get their quest prizes. The Chatterbox will be on steroids, along with all other forums probably seeing an increase in rule breaking. X-x;

I think of the new system as a good thing though. Everything new that's added to Gaia has its bad points. However, setting goals for everyone to complete will be something that can be carried over into real life, unlike most other things you get from the internet. Yes, we already have that with our inflated items that people quest for. But this is something run by Gaia itself, which is sure to bring in many more people to work for what they want. :3

:3 Me either, n00bs have alot of perks now. When I joined all I got was a damn pesants dress and a bit of gold, now they get a bunch of items, and tons of gold.

Yeah, this is so very true.

For the quest system itself, I'm not really sure I understand how it works.

I've also heard that old donation items will be available through this system. True?

I've heard that too~ Dunno is it's true, though.
I suppose it'll be an alternative for those people that aren't super exchangers or artists. Because,since they butchered the amount of gold we can get each day, it'd be incredibly hard to quest for something with only posting and polling. =\
This way, they just have to stick to a long, hard, time consuming quest.
