TXT TLK in cell phone text messages?
Sure. Those things are costly to send, so I need to get everything in a single message!
Hell no. There is never a good reason to sacrifice the quality of the English language!
Sometimes. It depends on what I'm typing and whom I'm sending it to.
I don't have a cell phone, use SMS, or am a pholl whore.

I almost always call people to communicate with them, but in that instance, I would still use correct grammar even capitalisation.

Usually, it's only because I want to waste time, or I'm just very unentertained at the time.

I never seem to have a problem with "txt tlk" while texting, ironically. My phone allows 450 characters per message and with unlimited messaging at $20 a month, typing 2-3 page texts to aviod "txt talk" + [[10,000+]] text messages last month= me being a texting addict. xp

I must say you all are lucky! The reason I say that is because of the fact I don't have a cell phone and have to wait for a little while before i can get one.

Although I have an SMS character limit it just moves on to a new message if I go over it. This is fine by me because I have a contract phone and therefore since I've all ready paid for all these text messages I'd be as well getting the most out of them!

That reminds me, I've been meaning to go and change my plan since I'm paying for messages and minutes that I'm not actually using.

In most situations,
I don't see the point in texting.
[Let alone "txt tlk"]

Why don't you just frickin' call them?

Four-hundred-fifty characters? Is yours one of those new EMS phones?

Unfortunately, yes. However, it's only on my cell phone while I'm IMing a friend on yahoo! I don't text message much and when I do, I just type short messages.

For me, when it comes to my cell phone, I just call the damn person. I can count on one hand how many times I have ever text messaged someone.

I can count it using no fingers too. 3nodding
