AL's face actually does look like that, and the other Akatsuki (apparently female heart ) does have blue/purple hair and a flower, so sure.

Plus we really don't know if the person is a girl or not; they could just be a crossdresser/girl-poser like that one person on Ruroni Kenshin.

well, we don't know if the girl is actually gonna be a girl or not, but yes, the leader has been shown with orange hair, but we haven't had a clear image of his face or anything like that....just hair color, shape and the piercings
