Soul of Solitude

Quests and Searches

Away from the ocean
And into the fire
I walk were the devil dances
As the queen of my new empire.

I am strong
I am true
I look at the crimson sky
That was once blue.

But there is something missong
Something I need
That something is you
Yes, you indeed.

And in my search
In my quest
No time to tarry
No time to rest.

I have found you at last
But you do not know me
How is this true?
How can this be?

Written in, ummmm, math class again. But as you can see, has a totally different meaning than my last one written there. Enjoy.

Roses

Red roses - Symbol of love
White roses - Symbol from above
Yellow roses - Symbol of a start
Black roses - Symbol of your heart

Written, oddly, the same time Butterfly was. Odd how things go...Anyways, it's my shortest poem, hope you enjoy!

Untitled
Emily Dickinson

My life had stood - a Loaded Gun -
In COrners - till a Day
The Owner passed - identified -
And carried Me away -

And now We roam in Sovereign Woods -
And now We hunt the Doe -
And every thim I speak for Him -
The Mountains straight reply -

And do I smile, such cordial light
Upon the Valley glow -
It is as a Vesuvian face
Had let its pleasure through -

And when at Night - Our good Day done -
I gaurd My Master's Head -
'Tis better than the Eider-Duck's
Deep Pillow - to have shared -

To foe of His - I'm deadly foe -
None stir the second time-
On whom I lay a Yellow Eye -
Or an emphatic Thumb -

Though I than He - may longer live
He longer must - than I -
For I have the power to kill,
Without - the power to die -

Okay, this isn't a poem of mine, but I do love this poem so much. Emily Dickinson is one of the greatest poets ever, in my opinion.

They would never let us be together
I should have known
That it wouldn't work.
I left to go find something
To see why it chose me
And not you, or even them.
I left in a hurry and forgot my emotions
And I left them with you.
I stumbled and fell
Then I forgot about you.
It seems that half of me is dark
The other half : Light.
I hurt you so much
Can you forgive me
And hold me in your arms?

Then you came searching for me,
Whether it was their orders
Or from your own accord,
I knew somewhere in my non-existent heart
That you missed me.
You were angry
That I forgot about you.
But that didn't stop you, did it?
In the end, you died,
Saving the other me,
granting me passage.

Light and Dark now live together.
And always, somewhere in their hearts,
They are thinking of you.

Okay, this poem was based off some characters in the video game Kingdom Hearts. I thought of it in about 5 minutes. So tell me what you think of it. I appriciate it. ^^
