It is best to sell a 1M+ (or so) worth of item at the Gaia Exchange Forum. (GE) It is because of the Marketplace's (MP) closing fee of 2%.
Analyze the equation(s) carefully.

Legend

Let x = MP Sale Price
Let y = NET Earning

MP Sale Equation

x - [ x ( .02 )] = y

In this case, x = 1,000,000 and y = 980,000. Therefore, the seller using MP will suffer a whooping 20,000 Gaia Gold.

Use the Gaia Exchange to sell these valuable items to make you and the customer happy. Let's say you'd sell it for 990,000 in GE, the customer pays lower amount and you receive higher amount compared to MP.

no its not a store item..

I'm not sure but I think it's called "fail-hoard". (I officially use this term) Make a move yourself if you had the money. You buy the lowest price and sell it with the same price on the next.

Do remember the 2% closing fee. I've provided the equation if you are unaware. Make sure you don't lose money.
